I'm in the process of removing my lawn and replacing it with creeping thyme (pronounced time). It's good to see the other alternatives, thank you x

That sounds like a wonderful project! Creeping thyme is a great choice for a lawn alternative. Not only is it low-maintenance, but it also provides beautiful color and a lovely fragrance when walked upon. Plus, it's a fantastic ground cover that can help keep weeds at bay. Remember to prepare your soil well before planting, ensuring it is well-draining as thyme doesn't like to stay wet. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions during your gardening journey. And of course, we're here to provide more alternatives and gardening tips whenever you need. Thank you for your comment and best of luck with your lawn transformation!

That's wonderful to hear! Transitioning to xeriscaping can have many benefits, including water conservation and creating a beautiful and low-maintenance landscape. Planting wildflowers, thyme, and clover is a great choice for a diverse and sustainable backyard. These plants can add color, attract pollinators, and require less water compared to traditional lawn grass. Best of luck with your xeriscaping project, and if you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask. Happy gardening!

It sure would be helpful if you could pronounce the names of the plants correctly before you make a video. Just saying.
