I think the industry peaked a little while ago. At least as an outside production company. I feel 5ish years ago brands wanted to be on socials, didn’t know how and hired us. But now they all do a lot in house and hire in house I think the industry is at a point where less and less people need us

Maybe try value in other areas with brand strategy/workshops. You can always switch your niche. Not every company or industry will hire in house. Just a suggestion

Hey guys! Yeah for me it was in someways easier a few years back but I was also a lot cheaper which made the process easier. At the time I didn't mind because I had lots of clients but now fewer business can afford us but that's also OK because we have also changed our focus and the type of work we do. Sure lots will hire inhouse for the small stuff but that where we should adapt and reposition. I agree that adding strategy and building out your offering will help move away from those smaller companies into the ones who are serious about video production. Don't get me wrong... adapting isn't easy but staying the same will leave you in a position where in-house is better than outsourcing 🙌😊
