Спорт

Here are tips and tricks to help you learn new wakeboard stunts. Hopefully they help you progress your riding on the board. The tutorial is aimed at helping beginners and intermediate riders. Here's a list of the 7 tricks.
1. Riding Switch/ Surface 180/ Switching
2. Heelside Wake To Wake
3. Heelside Grab
4. Toeside Wake Jump
5. Toeside 180
6. Switch wake jump.
7. Switch 180/ Half Cab
Hopefully this video gives you the advice of not only 7 tricks, but also a good idea of the sequence you should learn them in. It's not the only 7 tricks I'd advice, but they are 7 great starter tricks.
Thanks for watching.
Dave

Hi David Thanks alot for your riding switch tip of putting more weight on my front foot when riding switch feels much better and giving me more confidence. Top man

Great video and perfectly timed. I'm having a back-to-basics season trying to learn all the basics I bypassed when i got really excited trying to learn bigger tricks. I'm forcing myself to ride switch and learn all the 180s, not just the ones I like. This video is great to remind me what tricks to perfect. Looking forward to trying more weight on the front foot toeside as my toeside jumps can be shocking sometimes.

Hey Dave, hope all is well, wanted to ask when will you be getting back into serious boat wakeboarding again? Missing those day on the lake videos with friends, big wakes and massive tricks.

When practicing riding switch, can you just start that way while being pulled out of the water?

What's the optimum speed for trying 180? I can ride switch and jump but I can't find the courage to try 180 :( We ride at speed around 18mph do you reckon is it OK or fast?

Awesome video! I still need to learn the switch wake to wake. I’m hoping I can also nail down the TS wake to wake, but that feels near impossible right now when I try

@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder That would be really awesome! I need all of the tips I can get. I’ve hit my first wall in wakeboarding, where I’ve been trying the same things for a long time, but can’t land anything new.

I need you to make A tutorial on how to move from side to side am still stuck on that and am in south Australia in the Murray river where we have big wake boats like Malibu's and stuff and every time they come pass I fall off so if you can help with how to get pass the waves when they come because everyone stirs the river up in summer The only time I can practice is in winter when the water is calm and there are no boats in the water thanks Jordie

Great Tips as to how to progress, I’m at the wake to wake and riding switch phase , so I can see a nice way to evolve my rudimentary skills. BTW which neck of the woods in Ireland is your backdrop? Looks lovely

Hey, it's a 'Glastron' - never heard of it before to be honest. If your wake is too wide, then try and go faster and/or shorten your rope!

Learn it!!! Sounds silly but practicing it for 5/10 mins every time you ride really makes a difference. Do that 10 times and you’ll transform it!
