7 EASY tips to get GREAT MOON photography EVEN IF you’re a beginner!

Free Presets: photoserge.me/...
My masterclass: photoserge.me/...
1. Get a good tripod and a remote or use self-timer
2. Use app.photoephem... for planning your shot at home
3. Use Photo Pills once you are on Site to make sure the moon aligns www.photopills...
4. Shoot over 200 mm minimum Lens.
5. Manual Focus and zoom to make sure you are sharp
6. At Night expose for the moon or do an HDR
7. At Night manual expose and zo m in to make sure it is sharp!

    Another fantastic demonstration of working with layers. Something I’m still working on mastering, so more on this subject would be great! And while you mentioned the use of the Photographer’s Ephemeris and PhotoPills, I would especially love to see how these tools are used effectively. So far, I’m finding them cumbersome. Thanks!

    @@SergeRamelliPhotography I'm going through your landscape course and you explained how to use Photopils to plan sunset. If you can do more Photopils tutorials that would be great. When you explain things they become crystal clear!

    That Moon composite at the end should be illegal. The Moon does not move in a curve like that 🙈 Just timelapse the Moonrise and blend the layers without having to move them in PS

    do you have any color grading tutorials? where you dont use any presets? Would be cool to see that. Also, when you create presets for colors, do you do it in an external program? or is it all done in lightroom.

    A great tutorial, I always struggle to get detail and scenery, either one is dark or the other. How much can Photoshop elements do? As that is what I have, and lightroom 3.6

    Serge, the size of the moon (and also the sun) is ALWAYS the same. Its only our brain that makes the diffference. You can permanently hide the moon with the nail of your 5th! finger. No matter if the moon in near horizon on high up in the skies. Try it!
