Inside Out is definitely a tearjerker. It goes in-depth as to how our emotions work and why it’s important to open up.

Just reading this comment made me think of the song she sings during the scene and now I'm sitting here fighting back tears.
My kids had seen The Lion King several times before I sat down and watched it with them. I had to leave the room during the death scene because I started to cry. In another room I'm sniffling and wondering, "What cold-hearted children am I raising who aren't crying over this?

When i first watched the Lion King as a kid I was enjoying myself. When the death scene happened I didn't react and just kept smiling, then my mom went like: "Aww, now that poor lion doesn't have a dad anymore". I then started crying and refused to finish the movie until a couple years later :')

For real. Some of them were older than him! Bambi and Dumbo, no way he’s never heard of those. And I know he’s been to Disneyland at least once in his life. LOL he knows them, he’s just playing dumb.

Pixar was bought by Disney in 2006, Toy story cane out in 1995, so it wasn't a Disney, but is now. So it's all open to interpretation

The fact that brother bear isn’t up there is just because not enough ppl have seen brother bear. One of disneys best movies imho and so few ppl have seen it
i’m surprised tarzan wasn’t up there. there’s a lot of death in that one. kerchak and kala’s baby was especially sad. then of course you have kerchak himself as well as tarzan’s birth parents

Old Yeller made me feel like crying after I watched it as a kid. My Mom has told me my cousin cried when he watched it and I had a teacher admit to me he almost cried at it too.
Is Steve hard of hearing? He constantly looks blank (not difficult at the best of times) and the contestant has to say their answer 3 or 4 times!!!

There have been some live action movies that Disney has done that have tearjerker moments. Remember the Titans comes to mind. So do Hook and Aladdin (the animated version).

I am not even American and I seem to know more about Disney movies than Steve does.
Some pretty good classics like Bambi and dumbo which are good answers.
I was thinking Old Yeller at the beginning but I couldn't remember if it was a Disney movie or not, guess it was.

Big Hero 6. I rented Inside Out and big hero 6 for me and my little brother to watch after work one day and after Inside out I was crying and said I needed a more fun Disney movie… I was a wreck sobbing on the floor in the first 10 minutes.

Fox and the Hound was another one where Widow had to leave Todd in the Reserve Forest to protect him from Hunters like Amus Slade.
Being a girl dad of 3, the end of The Little Mermaid gets me crying every time.
Did he just say they die at the end of Brother Bear? Dude, the only person/bear that died in that movie died at the beginning. That being said, the movie did make me cry and is very underrated. Who the heck cried over The Little Mermaid?
Steve, My darling husband & I went by the hill in the Serengetti where the movie Lion King was based. Sadly he died January 2022 & I revisited there & left some of his ashes right by that hill in #lionking ❤

@@PeppermintPat 'Bambi' is a great movie, don't get me wrong. I've seen it, and it has many great moments and memorable lines, "you can call me flower if you want too". But to out rank it against one of the best animated films of all time that had, not just the young generation but also the older generation, crying when Musafa was killed and Simba is there??? There's no comparison. In my humble opinion.
What part of Toy Story makes adults cry? Same with the little mermaid? The other 5 I understand but those two? How?

I'll be 60 this year and I remember watching back when I was about 8 years old and the special Disney Night on Sunday a local channel 3 for Canada was Old Yeller and I really was upset when his owner had to shoot him

My immediate thoughts were: Bambi, Lion King, and Fox and The Hound, but Dumbo was a great answer! That one made me cry too! I can't watch it. haha. And Pocahontas got me ballin' at the end! haha.
Brother Bear is obscure, but it definitely leaves tearstains. I would've gone with Air Bud bc when Buddy came back that left tears, I would say, Finding Nemo should've made the list bc of the beginning.
