MUSIC: El Baile De Los Andes by Pangal & Gana LONG-TERM CAMP: This is the third/final video at the long-term winter camp. We set it up on the previous trips if you missed them. AUDIO: Something went wrong with the mic on the main cam for a bunch of shots (muffled, a few times recorded nothing). Used the action cam more than usual too and the DJI action 3 mics suck. Did my best to salvage it at home but some clips just don't sound right...sorry about that. Also got the worst piece of sensor dust of all time on day 6 🤦‍♂ But the best of the winter is yet to come. 10-day adventure next.

The music is great and reminds me of Iohan Gueorguiev's soundtrack selection when he was bikepacking through the South American snow. Some of the finest soundtrack work ever done on KZread, sadly it ran into copyright issues even though he was using it under license and I don't know if you can find it now, but the soundtrack music was Inti Illimani.

What a cool trip! That shot of the glowing blue igloo on the lake at night with the stars overhead was mesmerizing , and the (Peruvian?) flute music really lent a fitting touch to the picturesque scenes. Erin is such a joy. Her drive and focus without which you never would have built the igloo. I’m with you Jon - quihnzee. Made one in Algonquin with the kids when they were young. Worked great but -30° - helped it sinter fast. Loved the drone “art” shots and cracking ice was a new one. Finally a dose of winter in a season of 💩. Thanks to both of you. 🤗
