So long does it general take to get the adhesive tacky? Great video 👍

Depends on the temperature of where you’re working. In a room temp environment, maybe 2-3 minutes. In a hot place, 30 seconds to a minute In a cold place 4 minutes I hope this information helps. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out! Thanks for watching!

Got a 47 dodge wd 21 truck, got the crank out windshield fixed and cranking in and out like butter, got new gasket for outside of windshield frame that will seal against truck frame, can't get groove of rubber gasket in channel of windshield frame, going to try gluing it with this, just seeing if you have had any experience with my situation and if there's anything I'm missing? talked to people who I bought gasket from and they're not much help, they do sell a brand new window assembly with gasket installed for $1000, trying to not have to go that route since my windshield is working, thanks

If I understand correctly, it sounds like the rubber may be a bit bigger than the channel and that’s why you’re having difficulty getting it in place? If that’s the case, maybe soapy water to help slide it in the channel. Or perhaps using a tuck tool, a pointed but blunt object that won’t pierce the rubber or scratch the car, to push the dovetail into the channel. I’m not sure if gluing it would work if it’s not seated correctly to start with.
