Just yesterday I wore a classic white T shirt, faded wide leg jeans, a black moto jacket, and a gold necklace. I added a grey leopard print cashmere scarf when I was outdoors. My bag was black and camel color leather. I felt pretty in this simple outfit! Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm 76, still working, and funnily black is the color that suits me best. It matches perfectly with my skin and my white bob.

My fashion icon is a lady who used to live in my neighborhood. I never saw her in anything but chic black. It looked amazing with her white hair. In the winter, she wore a white coat with her black outfits. ❤

My hair turned platinum when I was around 60. I love wearing black now more than ever because of the stunning contrast. Add a pop of bright colored lipstick, and I'm ready to shine!

I love black and camel! It’s even a classic look on my husband…black pants, black button down shirt & a camel blazer. With a tie, it’s more dressy but without it’s a dressed down version. I often wear something similar- black pants, black top or I have a sleeveless turtleneck that I love with a camel blazer.

I have a hard time with white top and black trousers. It reminds me of a waiter’s uniform, at least in Spain that combo used to be very used with hospitality uniforms. Nothing wrong with it, it is just a no-go for me 😢 on the other hand, black and navy and black and grey look terrific 😍

I would add black jeans and a denim shirt.

Navy with black is growing on me. 5 years ago, it would have been anathema to me 😂

Wish I could wear camel, but my skin is clear winter with olive undertones. Even with red or bright white tops, camel makes me disappear.

After years of my pierces ears also being closed up, I decided to go get them pierced again. I am so glad I did. The clip ons also hurt me, I finally gave up wearing them.

I always have a hard time with blank jeans so I gravitate towards dark grey. Work dress pants same idea

I love everything you show, except the tennis shoes, or trainers. They may work if they were white but the grey just doesn't look at classic. But love love love your channel, it is by far my favorite and love the Christmas series. And still love your new haircut, so flattering

I only wish I could find a white wool coat, they’re always ivory, which doesn’t suit me nearly as well. Any wool coat at all is hard to find these days, in the Polyester Era.

Woolite makes a special laundry detergent for darks. It really helps keep darks from fading.

I think I read somewhere that vinegar used in the wash “sets” the black dye. I may be wrong though, Google it to be sure.

How slim you are, Ms. Long Legs! I wish I had some of your English/British height! My legs are proportionally long, but I’m only 5’4” nowadays, I was 5’6” in youth. I can’t help but think that the taller and slimmer, the more elegant! Decades of seeing 6-foot tall, size 4 (US) models, I suppose. I’m slim, too, but crave more height. You look terrific, dear Gemma❤

No, taller and slimmer has been considered elegant for a very long time, even in the Middle Ages. I have a copy of an illuminated book of hours from France; the people are portrayed as tall and slender, which is a feat considering that many of them are wearing bulky, fur-lined clothes! Even Japanese art of several hundred years ago depict women as tall and extremely slender. It's an ideal that comes and goes, but it's definitely in right now.

I’m taking these tips to wear with my black trousers, I don’t wear jeans much, because I can’t get a reasonable fit in them, after 50 years of searching. Only stretchy black trousers, or skirts, work for me.

Unfortunately as a spring colour type (I don't care about fashion rule but in fact other colours do not suit me at all or I just don't like them on me), I can't wear so much black and camel is also a colour that doesn't suit me at all because of my too similar hair colour. BUT I love the outfits you show, find them on these beautiful women, incl. you Gemma, very beautiful. ❤😊

​​@@edennis8578 It may match with my complexion but imo it makes me too yellowish😂 And I personaly also don't like when long black hair women wear black on the top of the body. And same for blonde long hair women. I like a little more contrast. Same colour palette but lighter (cream for ex.). Or every colour with yellow undertone but darker than my hair. It looks on me much better than same colour in the hair and clothe on the top. 😊
