Right!! One says to eat this, while another says that it is not recommended. The Rockefeller medical system is a scam... they don't want people to live long, healthy lives. They just want people to keep going to their 'professional' doctors who have incentives to push pharmaceutical garbage that gives you more health issues and (may) help with the symptoms... but at a huge cost. It doesn't help that the general consensus for the aspect of what nutrients is in the food stuff is a huge generalization and is just glossed over by many as if that is true. Plants grown in the environment are a key factor to keep things as a normal standard, but when you get produce from other countries and their regulations are subpar or downright toxic... who do you trust? The FDA fails to keep things safe, just look at all the health issues they keep saying is okay, but later (if you are lucky) you find out that it wasn't good for your health... There isn't enough data to show any real substance as everyone's health is at varying levels. No true data is collected and sifted to regulate it better... nothing but a waste of money and time, which is precious and priceless...

Baking soda (a k a bicarbonate of soda) is pure sodium bicarbonate, while baking powder is baking soda combined with one or more acid salts, such as monocalcium phosphate monohydrate, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, sodium aluminum sulfate or sodium aluminum phosphate.

Lots of potassium in dried fruits, bananas, and avocados

  • @kidneyfoodie

Yes, however all of those foods can be incorporated into a kidney diet - even those on a potassium restriction. We include meal plans in our course that use many "high potassium" foods, but the overall meal plans are still low in potassium. I also recommend working with a dietitian that specializes in kidney nutrition to help with your specific needs and food preferences!

It all depends where the person's e GFR is at. Someone like me, for example, who is at stage 5 cannot have them versus someone with stage 3. It all depends on the person's specific situation.

I agree, the more KZread videos I watch, the more confused we get, sometimes. This advise is contrary to everything the majority say, though! I guess the sensible approach would be to trust your doctor and dietitian.

My fiancee has been an eggs for breakfast guy for years. Are 2 eggs scrambled okay? He likes white brad and lots of fruits like purple grapes, pineapple, and watermelon, to go with the eggs. And turkey sausage links, too. Is this bad? I'm 76, not much of an adventuror new recipe cook, so kind of multi ingredients scare me into thinking I'm going to be in the kitchen too many hours of the day. Starting to get shaky and I'm extremely slow at doing things, but I do want to keep my fiancee healthy.

I would say if you are at stage 3,4,5 already. Do not listen to this video to be on the safe side and get in contact with your nephrologist that works closely with a dietitian. Get complete tests done from blood all the way to urine to see how much Sugar, Potassium, phosphorus, sodium and protein your body is keeping and maybe even your allowed liquid intake must be carefully examined . Some of these foods are allowed but in moderation. Depending on which stage you are would depend on how you should eat anything. Try to catch it in the early stages and dont wait until you get symptoms.
