7 Can't Miss Places in Tavares, Florida - America's Seaplane City
Just under an hour drive northwest of Orlando in beautiful Lake County is the city of Tavares. Along with the neighboring towns of Eustis and Mount Dora, it completes what is known as Florida’s “Golden Triangle.” Abby and I spent a Sunday afternoon exploring this city of nearly 18-thousand residents and want to share a few of our favorite finds with you.

Neat video. I'm fixing up a mobile home in the little trailer park across the canal from Summerall Park.

Another fabulous place to visit in Tavares is a little eatery called Deli Llama. Fantastic owners who are hands on and delicious, very cool, food and drinks!💝

It was already closed when we walked a couple of Sundays ago. It looked really cool though. We’ll definitely give it a try the next time!

pretty interesting town
You need to stop by Palm Gardens restaurant. Not much to look at by has a relaxing vibe to it as you watch boat traffic on the Dead River. Great seafood too.
