Meekness is a big one, I believe. Gentleness, humility, kindness, submissiveness, modesty, obedience all easily tie with this quality. A mere observation I've made throughout my life is that I've seen women more bold in speech and self-assertive. Honestly your video, "taming the tongue" comes to mind. Not that there's anything wrong with being bold, as long as it's a quality used to shamelessly proclaim the gospel! However, I've only met a few women in my life that were actually gentle and meek. I think this is a priceless attribute we can cultivate. 😊 "Do not let your adornment be merely outward-arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel- rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." I Peter 3:3‭-‬4 NKJV

I would love a part 2 that breaks down each quality and gives practical tips on how to implement them in our lives! A quality I've been trying to learn more about and practice is having a quiet spirit. From shifting my schedule to have slower mornings, allowing more time for prayer and Bible study, to learning to stay silent when I'm tempted to speak. I think these are often overlooked in our "hustle" culture.

🙏🏽💗I love this. I'm 58 years old and I've known the Lord since I was 14. So what's that: 44 years? Goodness. I went down the list (and checked the whole Prov 31 passage in my Bible). It looks like so far, the Lord's helped me tick all the boxes. Imperfectly, of course. But the Lord is so kind and He's led me through it, forgiving my mistakes, tuning my ear even more finely day by day to His wishes, His will. I'm glad to be His daughter. Thank you Kaci, for being a young woman with such a finely tuned ear to His Word and His will and speaking this truth publicly. This was a good one. ✝💒🧔🏽‍♀ Love from California💖

Being a Christian woman, I oddly found that these qualities somewhat reflect me, but as stated, could and need to be worked on. The beauty part was especially interesting since I am an artist who likes to create beautiful things.

I absolutely LOVE this list! Self-respect & control are other qualities that we as Christian women should always cultivate! ❤️

I really liked how this passage does not just promote a godly woman but a godly family as shown in Proverbs 31:23 and 31:28. It is comforting to know that this passage promotes women, and that God commands women to be part of society just like men.

What a load of rubbish ahahahah hell

This about my mother, this proverb.......here it is so many years later than when we were all seated at the dinner table, joking, fighting, discoursing, loving.....I had loving catholic parents, they put us thru seven ivy league colleges, my mother was a super-mom....on our yearly vacation, she would load up the station wagon, and then have the whole roof loaded with stuff!!!......she was the den mother in boy scouts.....then when we were all in college and looking pretty good, she took the job of water chemist at our areas water supply....to pay the tuition..... then a bit later, my dad (who was awesome) had a stroke and became bedfast and incontinent.....my mom was his primary caretaker....a full-time job in my opinion....then my dad died, now she is 88 years old.....I wonder about my role...i try to do my best in my remodeling business, and wait on her.....I have screwed up alot over the years, and she was there the whole time, i am so glad to God who is Jesus....that I have a few years to present to my mother a son who is proud of accomplishments, and doing good, and also having fun!!

I love what you said in the beginning, "we cannot hold somebody else to a standard that we ourselves are not meeting or at least working towards". God bless you, keep up the good work ❤️💪✨

I agree with that as a Christian Man. I've been seeing lots of Men being promiscuous meanwhile they want to marry a girl that isn't promiscuous and to me it just seems wrong. If a man doesn't want a promiscuous woman then he shouldn't be promiscuous and vice versa.

This is the only video on this verse that did not trigger me like at all. You are so warm. I did not feel overwhelmed at all

I come downstairs to unwind from a long day looking after my 4 years old and all I can think of is another 'to do' list, for the night...I find your video sister and It moved me to change the focus from an anxious wife to someone who needs to draw near to God and aspire to be this type of woman writen in Proverbs. Ever since I learned about Proverbs 31, I've been severely intimidated by it, for it pretty much describes a wife who makes zero mistakes in how she speaks and conducts herself and home economics, and I knew that I would make mistakes in my marriage... but the way it can be compressed into 7 tangible and very practical qualities that we can cultivate, this helps so much and gives me inspiration to strive to be that Godly wife for my husband! I really enjoyed your video. I am being called to change my life and become a good Christian woman. I have been filled with evil for years. I had a sort of out of body experience while watching a KZread video about Jesus on the cross. I saw myself throw up black evil and since that day I have been seeking the lord in a new found happiness and excitement. Before I couldn’t see a good future but now I see it is a beautiful day everyday as long as I do godly things everyday. Thank you for instilling new ideas for me.

I like that you said while we are looking for these qualities in Christian men, it is equally important that we cultivate qualities in ourselves. It’s so easy for us to point out something in someone else but we should hold ourselves accountable too. It’s refreshing to see this because I’ve been in conversations when the topic is about us but it always gets deflected back to what men should do. Everyone is getting held accountable when it comes to The Bible. There are messages for everybody too. If the someone is targeting a particular audience, then it’s meant for that audience. I watch videos like this because I like grounded advice on what I can do better as a Christian wife and mother. God bless you and anyone seeking biblical advice ✝️🙏💕🕊

The best comment I have ever heard, and I wish I remember where I read it, about the Proverbs 31 woman, is that this list is not about what a man wants in a woman. This is not a "man-created" list. It is a list from a WOMAN. A woman created this list, not some man with imagined and unrealistic ideals. This is from a woman who walks the walk she is distilling in her son. All women are capable of this and it is attainable with God's help.

How can you distinct between your personal desires for marriage and to be a wife and Gods will for you to marry and be a wife? Lately, I’ve been feeling the desire for marriage and for a Godly man as my husband. I’ve undergone some changes and I am finding myself to become a Godly woman in preparation for marriage. But I am overcome with insecurities still and struggle with feelings of unworthiness. How can one pray to God for clarity on this situation?

proverbs 31 is also for men, I know that sounds weird, but if you look at it in the light of the bride being described is actually Christ's bride, the church, then it paints a whole new picture. Which includes the men who are in the church. I heard that from somewhere and thought that was really interesting.
