Extremely informative vedio 👍 , i request govt to make senior citizen saving scheme quarterly interest must be Tax free , All senior citizens are retired n live on their pension after working for so many years in different sectors , During their service also , they were paying tax , after retirement too , are paying tax . Any interest earned Accrued on any investment is not income it is interest. Once you have already paid Tax on earning incomes. All interest by senior citizen should and must be exempt. Raise your voice and support demand . This is election year dictate the terms .

Minimum 9% int in SCSS must be tax free and payable monthly so that Sr citizens can meet their daily needs into worst high inflation running at present in india.

Punjab N Sindh bank ki jo 222 scheme bata rahe hai jisme 8.5% hai(see at 09:10), wo scheme 31March2023 tak hi thee as per bank website.

True it has to be made tax free.... I had taken in year 2021 but disappointed to see tax deductions if spite of 15H/G form . I am a single woman and was highly disappointed. Hope finance minister takes this into account

Yes scss interest should be tax free. Rate of interest should be increased to 9% for life long. No filing of 15 h form.

During budget finance minister announced that scss limit to be increased from 15 lakh to 30 lakh from 1st april'23 but till today I.e. 12/04/2023 no bank has got rbi notification for purchasing scss bond under 30 lakh limit. Why so delay. Thanks.

The least govt can do is to make interest on SCSS TAX FREE .80% of retirees depend on the interest received from fixed deposit . THANKS

Better Dividing POST OFFICE MIS into two Groups upto 60 interst @7.4 &Above60 age by providin @8..4/ interst. Then Monthly income facility instead of quartely for 8:59 seniors citigens. Aged person needs monthly Amount for the lively hood. Govt. think about to help the old people.
