The Art of War is a must read at most B-schools. BTW, formal training is a combination of reading books and taking courses (online or in class). What “formal” training/teaching does is structure the courses and books in a way and an order where they complement each other into a workable knowledge to incorporate all the teachings to be successful. Not to mention, you have to meet a certain standard (grades).

Great video thanks. Quick technical question, for someone reading these books or more, what is your method of organization, summarizing or referencing that you use, to ensure the efficiency in grasping the book content. For instance summarizing can take a long time, simple reading (while enjoyable) but can make us forget certain tools whenever we need to pull a technique or a skill and use in the real world. Any ideas here that can save time and yet maximize reading efficiency. Thanks!

Hello! I love your channel! I love reading but get caught up with the day to day life struggles. I squeeze it in as much as possible. Judging by your channel, I believe you have a lot more going on than I do. When do you find the the time or which days do you set aside for reading/incorporate reading into you busy schedule? I’m not too much of a fan of audio books. Just curious so I could maybe apply your time management into my own life. Sorry for the long run on comment :(

I hear you! Here are three little suggestions: 1) I didn't like audiobooks either, until I really got into them. So maybe give them another try? I like to listen while I drive or do chores. 2) I generally read for ~15 minutes before bed. It's not a lot, but it's when I can most frequently fit it in. 3) Are there times you spend scrolling social media, browsing the internet, or watching tv/movies. If so, first identify WHEN. Then you'll be able to reclaim & repurpose that time for reading. Hope one of these suggestions is helpful!

Thank-you for the great business book recommendations Gilian! I'm definitely intrigued by a few of them. I actually am a big fan of Russel Brunson and many of his internet marketing partners like Frank Kern, Ryan Levesque, Andy Jenkins, Mike Filsaime and the like. Ryan's book "Choose" that he just came out with is absolutely amazing at helping you figure out what market to go into that will stay profitable long term (and keep you happy to work in it!) But my all time FAVOURITE business book is Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". He taught me how to take doing business to the next level by always building recurring passive income and never working in your business, but on it! Thanks again for another amazing dose of useful inspiration and motivation. Love your videos. You're such an awesome KZread and Internet Marketing Role Model!

It's not very long, it's called "nonsense" and in a very straightforward way it tells about the cost of all business processes (marketing, employees, outsourcing, etc.) and how to go about it all. Interestingly, the author debunks various motivational myths in a very interesting way. It's available on Amazon, I'm ultra-curious about your opinion!

Don’t want to be a prick but do you run an actual business that generates direct goods/services with value or it’s more educational? Sorry but as an engineer I’d love to take advice but I also love to analyze, so if you’re telling me that those books will impact my business or businesses, did you apply them to yours and what were the exact results taking 1 example. Also, if it’s a blogging and “inspiration” business then please don’t bother since they’re less business and more education, and education isn’t a very good business in terms of scalability and % of the global business market. Thank you.
