The neurofibromataosis couple are adorable. They were legit made for each other. They seem so sweet and kind that after listening to them speak it’s almost like the bumps disappeared. I think that’s the magic of getting to know someone and hearing their story.

@@carole-vv5es Couples are often referred to as “such a cute couple”. Ur only looking as their disability and tip toeing around language. I am disabled and people do this around me often. It’s annoying. Just because we are disabled doesn’t mean we can’t be “adorable couples” or “cute”.

The couple who suffers from cerebral palsy made me emotional, I love going to the gym and it’s actual my safe place so watching them working out with so much strength and seriousness is beautiful. Also, Tina and Carl are really the definition of family, helping other people and making a new kind of gym absolutely amazing!

My 20 year old nephew has neurofibromarosis but the internal type. So all you see on the outside is like birthmark looking patches. His life expectancy is 21 but so far he's doing good. His speech is effected. He talks like someone who is virtually deaf but he's a beautiful man now and hopefully he will live a long life

My son almost died of SIDS at 4 months and suffered an anoxic brain injury. They told us he wouldn't survive and if he did he would be on a ventilator and feeding tube the rest of his life and probably in a vegetative state. He was in a coma for a month but he made it. Came out of the coma, off the vent and the feeding tube. He does have CP, MRDD, epilepsy and CVI but he'll be 15 this year and overall healthy as a horse. He is a lot smarter than people give him credit for, he just can't get it out like other people. He is so happy and laid back, laughs all the time at just the right moments, love to tease people, just a beautiful soul. We're just blessed to have him, he's taught me more about life and living than anyone else ever could. His siblings adore him and they're extra caring and understanding because of him. He's just a blessing to this world, just like your kiddo. 😊

It’s not just accepting them, it’s celebrating them! One thing I noticed about every single couple was how beautiful and pure their souls were. I have a capable body, but I carry a lot of damage around in my soul. And how petty is that? Because no matter what these couples faced, they found a way to carry the good with them and let go of the rest. The ability to do that is something that is so admirable it makes me slightly envious- but diamonds are made through pressure, so I suppose it makes more sense than we even know

There's people out there who complain about stupid little things and yet I've heard not one complaint from any of these people or feeling sorry for themselves. They just get on with life as best they can with the cards that's been dealt them.

Everyone in this documentary did convey to me that I have to reach within myself, I’ve really been stuck for too long, and I can’t keep staying in this places of suspended animation.

I had a customer when I was 20 who had NF, back in the 90s, I treated her like she was just another person, and took the money from her hand, and smiled at her genuinely. I thought that maybe some people did not treat her fairly. Also, with some diseases, you may end up with conditions that make you go from “average” to maligned! People need to treat others better - I knew that at 20! That nurse???

Honestly I believe ppl look because they intrigued. When we see someone with a disease or disability we wonder what happened or what is going on. And shows like this you all are bringing awareness to something that is not talked about or known.. never feel like it's in disgust or anything mean. I'm overweight and I'm in a mobility chair for last 10 yrs. Because one I have neuropathy and second I have degenerative arthritis in my knees and back. Not because I'm over weight. I'm over weight because I can't move around like I used to

This was extremely inspiring and humbling to watch. Wonderful people living their lives to the full and not letting any physical challenges or obstacles hold them back. Each couple touched me in a different way. Thank you for sharing ❤

It can be forgiven when children are confused, scared, rude, and curious about unique medical conditions but there is no excuse for an adult. I've met ignorant adults who believe that tumors and other genetic conditions are contagious. I'm glad that these lovely couples are setting them straight. I wish them all long and happy lives.

I am new subs from South Africa. Truly thank you very much for this channel. I am so passionate about the "differently- abled " people. I managed schools with special and specialised learners and I appreciated how the staff deed their marvelous work. I have retired and such channels brought back the good memories. I feel proud and love all of the couples. May God continue to abundantly bless them because to Him nothing is impossible.

The beauty of the woman with neurofibromatosus shines through and he's a darling man. They were made for each other and you cannot even notice their issues in a very short time. They are engaging to listen to.

The first couple are so sweet! Bless them 😊 I always think to myself when I watch stuff like this, these people were little babies once and nobody should be mean to them, they didn't ask to be born different and besides what's normal anyway? We could all easily have a child with a condition so we have to learn to be kind. Kindness costs nothing after all ❤
