I found that my bottle of Asad was an amazing banger right out of the gate… Didn’t have to let mine macerate one bit. It is an outstanding fragrance… So good! Also, I agree, my Rasasi Hawas is an incredible scent too. Such a strong, sweet, perfectly middle, eastern spicy fragrance

Exactly. Asad once maceration kicks in is great. My bottle probably sat for 8 months and i smelled it the other day and wow.

⁠@@terriblethunder1737I bought Asad 2 months ago and it’s already better. When I first bought it I didn’t like it, and wondered what the hype was about. it kind of smelled like lynx/axe body spray. That’s completely gone now and it smells great. It will get better for sure, and I’m looking forward to how it develops even more.

Hey Dedrick & all 👋🤓. I can even say that also some niche fragrances needs maceration/let it sit for a bit/while. Thats what happen to my Vertus vanilla oud, Kajal Sawlaj, Amouroud Oud After Dark,etc... They all took longer to get to there potential.

Great list! Asad definitely is a beast, my bottle is more than a year old, I did 10 sprays and was choking everyone out at work, sorry not sorry 😂! I discovered another hidden beast mode frag, Lattafa Atlas (Orto Parisi Megamare clone). This one is even stronger than Asad, fresh salty aquatic with crazy projection/Sillage, lasts 10+ hrs on my skin and eternal on clothes.

You should try Rasasi Shuhrah that's my go to nuclear bomb and one unique tomato leaf top note

I have Rasasi Hawas. It lasts, but I wouldn't call it "Nuclear" Try these, if you want to know what performance is: Followed, from Kerosene. Tropical Woods, from Montale, The Moon, from Frederick Malle. I think Tabac is a better performer than rasasi's Hawas. Having said that, I know it is a matter of perception, and every nose is different. Great video, my friend!

the paris corner oud satin mood is totally beast, average maxx out on my skin is 10 hrs, i do love asad too but the scent profile of it kinda like "dom" perfume 🤣

I gotta try that tobac. I’m not too big on performance but I really like tobacco fragrances. Ejazi is nice I have it but for those who want something closer with some iris in it- Ted Lapidus Pokerface. It’s my favorite.

Most clones overperform tbf, some good selections.

My bottle of Hercules must be weak, because I think the performance is trash... So strange... I do have Alexandria Fragrances Arabian Horse, which is a clone of PDM Herod, and it is a beast for me, and is very accurate. All the others you list, that I have, are solid frags for me. So glad the clones have gotten so good, it makes it so much easier to test things you might like, or that you can't afford. Thanks for the video

Thank for sharing! Let you Hercules sit for awhile.. maceration may help it. Several bottles have come to life for me that the performance was awful at the beginning.

Man i blind bought Oud satin this week.... absolutely NOT a mans scent in my humble opinion. I asked three women right away after getting it if they like it and they said its the furthest thing from what a man should smell like. Being absolutely honest folks. I personally rated it a 3.5 out of 5 and it is indeed strong but its not for everyone. Especially when it comes to men...if you like oud, middle eastern, rose DNAs, definitely give it a go. Its definitely unique but folks in South asia and middle east are absolutely used to this type of scent for decades. I love your channel man and the content is gold. Keep them vids coming my guy.

Hey Dedrick! Purchased Lattafa Asad a week before. It is produced in 06/2023, pretty new batch, and it is weak. The sillage is half of an arms length even if I spray 15 times around my neck. How long would you recommend it to wait before the beast inside it *hopefully* gets activated? Should I leave it with the cap on or off during the waiting period?

Usually 2 weeks to 1 month it gets pretty good (After the first sprays) because it activates/affects the molecules.

I expirenced similar issues.. I let mine sir for along time, almost a year and I almost sold it.. leave the cap on and let it sit for about 6 months

That ministry is not beast mode but its the best smelling Mfk dupe out there followed by Barrakat again the Ministry is the best has a less synthetic smell and a beautiful rose with average everything moreover great work keep it coming much appreciated

I just bought the barrakat one it will be here in about a week. I got that one instead because all the videos I watched said it was super strong and long lasting and smelled the most like it. They said the ministry of oud on smelled about the same but didn't last as long. What do you think

@@carasparks8500 Barrakat is the true beast from projection and performance only difference between The Ministry one is the Rose in the Ministry smells better more pronounced than the Barrakat however the Barrakat is way stronger in its oud and sweetness So I think 🤔 you made a excellent purchase if you like your fragrances more stronger

@@carasparks8500 I would honestly say the Ministry only because of how gorgeous the rose 🌹 is in that one is , so if you want the closest in terms of scent Ministry but if you want it a little loud with sweetness and a little middle eastern incense in the background faintly then the Barrakat one is it ,in short for spring average performance Ministry and for every other season strong 💪 projection and performance Barrakat, hope that helps

I like Tabac but I get I almost no tobacco in it. Very honey and warm fruit forward. If you're gonna call it TABAC, I expected waaayyy more tobacco.

You definitely missed amber oud exclusif blue the Layton clone it’s better than the original and lasts longer

Oud Satin is magnificent. Maceration did wonders to my bottle, i can confirm. Beautiful and beastly. 💯 Honorable mention - Afnan Supremacy Not only Intense. Arguably my most complimented scent.

Never spray clothes. Skin only. And only two three around the neck. Spray freely on bare skin, that will be covered, by clothing. Women seem two love that way better

Some ppl have skin allergies to fragrances, and will break out and get a bad rash. For them, spraying on clothes is the only option.
