You are 100% correct. Quick answer, family. All of our family is here. But yup, it is very possible that we might move somewhere different when family begins to pass on. But for now, we want our kids to see the grandparents as much as possible.

This video made me cryyyyyy(in a good way)! I'm from the Pacific NW originally though I'm currently living in Central Texas like you! When the rain came that first time especially I stood outside for the whole 20 minutes it was here. Gratitude and joy and relief! I came to life just like my dead brown backyard. It was awesome to see people clearly share some of what I was feeling.

It poured last night in East Texas. I felt like a new mother waking up often but I thanked our Heavenly Father for the much needed wetness and all the noise that came with it. We woke up to 1.3” !!! 🎉 Weeping may last for the night but joy comes in the morning! Ps 30:5b

In those cracks "plant" apricot, cherry or peach seeds. This will give them deep roots.

Great Video am in Cypress TX shopping for an homestead now ! Do not waste money on new panels! Buy aftermarket used good panels from SanTan Solar with warranty and tested save thousands like I do ,panel technology changes to fast to buy new and waste good money !

Can’t really dig a well here. And we did build the biggest pond we could. We only have 7 acres, so 1/4 acre pond isn’t bad. Probably will dog another pond in the front sometime in the future.

Really great video. You obviously got this. How about a short cheapish well with a solar and waterwheel power supply for the pump? Would it let you control the pond water? Love from Boone.

I would call a couple drilling companies and see if you can get an estimate or hopefully an appointment to have the boss come over. He or she gets impressed with your hutzpah and presto...swimming hole.

Thats normal for us to go without any rain for months living in eastern mediterranean and having crazy temperatures in the summer. This year i want to plant onion seeds for bulbs for the first time. Any idea when to plant them? Also we never raise chickens on summer because they die because of the heat. Only in the fall and early spring

But really no editor can make a video like this that encompasses a 3 month span. So these “Kelly VO” videos always take a very long time to produce.
