This video is exactly what i was looking for thank you! I just installed some Banks tubro parts, new up pipes, exhaust valve delete, completely new exhaust, oil crossover line, and a few more things. I believe I damaged the harness in the process also I can see cracking in the wire insolation all over the place. I was planning to get a cheap wire harness and swap it out with a quality check like you did. Allot of people don't know this but pretty much every single OEM harness for any vehicle made today is hand made in China. It's basically impossible to automate wire harness production. I wouldn't be surprised if the harness you got comes out of the same factory that makes the OEM replacements. I had no idea about the fuel bowl heater running on the same circuit as the ECM. I am getting KAM memory errors occasionally. I will definitely delete that while i am at it. Thanks again for the helpful video, keep on trucking ✌️

Gotta love those damn squirrels! They got up in the boom on my 55ft bucket truck for doin treework and they made a nest and chewed just enough that it was still working but when i was up in the air prob like 40 ft and my hydraulic line busted and the boom just slowy crept down and rested on top of my cab , so anybody wondering it doesnt just fall out the sky but it wasn't very good for business., i went to war with all squirrels around my shop flying the accorn flag ! 😂

Thanks for the video. Is your truck a manual or automatic transmission? The reason I ask is that I think the harness may be different for automatics versus manual.

When you deleted that heater bowl plug what did you to delete?

Just cut the wires and heat shrink the ends to keep them from corroding. If I remember right the fuel bowl heater fuse also runs the pcm is the purpose of deleting it

what would you say how hard was this job from 1 to 10 and how long did it take you?

It took about 2 hours i would say a 4 on hardness. Getting the old hardness out is harder than putting the new one in because the connectors are all nasty and stiff
