They are considered naturally aspirated even with the blower.

Every single one of that engine family 71 series, 92 series, 53 series ALL have a blower - it's just an air mover, not a compressor in that application.

Why did they make an inline and v6?

Inline is naturally balanced and very durable. A v6 is easier to package in many applications with two 3 cylinder banks on each side of the engine block.

They made the inline and the v blocks because they could. Making just one type of engine would not be very prudent considering all the different types of applications out there.
