6th Grade Close Reading of Informational Text Part 1

Jason Willoughby from Leverage Learning Group takes a class of 6th grade students through a reading of complex informational text. The standards and purposes for reading are citing textual evidence to to support analysis of the text and determining the central idea of the text. Jason reads the text multiple times with students, models effective instructional strategies, demonstrate collaboration techniques, and manages the classroom proactively.
