hi, lack of cleaning the magnet in pan and replacing filter. once magnet is covered in fine debris it cant collect more muck,so guess where it ends up ? yep on solenoids and sensors. just doing a fluid change on its own is pretty much useless unless you have coolant/water in trans. cheers

I have a 6L45R transmission in a 2010 E90. My problem is it jerks from 2nd to 3rd gear. Other than that, it's normal to go down from 3 to 2. No fault code The oil is good and not lacking. Can you recommend me?

My wagon has 220k don’t think it’s ever been done which might explain it holding a gear too long. Also does the diff oil need to be changed.

hi, diffs dont have filtering system except for gravity and sometimes a magnet. the magnet needs regular cleaning to work effectively. the trouble with diffs is that the oil is very thick, often diffs dont warm up so much, so the metallic debris will stay suspended in oil and circulates like liquid sandpaper through your gears and bearings. another problem is people often forget differeentials and transfer cases. cheers

Hi , I've got an issue with my17 vf2 sv6 it's done 98k on the clock. Just having an issue where it drives fine . Come to a stop sign go to drive off and it just revs up goes nowhere . Putting it into reverse is fine . Then a couple of shifts later put it into drive and its fine . Would this range sensor be the issue

hi,check all the basics first, but on these the valvebody to case seals and solenoid seals flatten out and harden, causing cross leaks, especially as fluid warms and thins out.cheers

Me podria decir que problemas le hacia esa transmission a ver si son los mismos que traigo mi transmission 6L50 en mi Camaro v6 cuando voy bajando a velocidad el mismo baja de 4 a 2da o de 3 a 2da eso no es normal ademas cuando lo pongo en manual me marca en el tablero 6 y tengo que bajarlos por el guia yo mismo siempre de drive a manual marca 6ta en el tablero

hola, lo siento, no puedo recordar el problema exacto si no se mencionó en el video. Empezaría comprobando el sensor de distancia. puede estar muy contaminado con residuos metálicos que cortan los contactos. en estas transmisiones, el cuerpo de la válvula y los sellos de la caja se endurecen y se aplanan. igual en la unidad tehcm los presostatos se contaminan. vea nuestros otros videos de 6L50 para obtener más información. salud kzread.info/head/PLQLkuOdKuFotzfpdV15zq07e32CUjYhbS

hi, cork rubber about 10nm, alum/rubber gasket you can do a bit tighter. cheers
