Good to know that you had a change in mind, but I don't think it's a good idea to not like someone simply because they won when you didn't want them to. I feel like if you knew her personally and didn't like her character, then you should feel free to dislike her. I mean, after all, she didn't just snatch the crown and claimed it hers spontaneously.

All of them were amazing and undeniably deserving. However, as an indian, in my opinion, Miss india nailed it in every possible way. She is a complete package. An epitome of elegance, beauty and confidance. I can't forget the way Adlene represented India and my heart swells with pride whenever I watch her there slaying with all latinas. And if you all notice, Paulina and Chaslie both were predicting India as one of the winners. Nonetheless, Andrea was equally deserving and reigned as an exemplary miss universe and stood strong when others were criticising her. Wishing all the girls a thriving future ahead!

As a Mexican thank you so much for supporting our queen Andrea. Adeline more than shined that night and was definitely deserving of the crown. In my opinion, thanks to her outstanding performance that night, it ultimately paved the way for Harnaaz to conquer the universe this year. Both Aldine and Harnaaz represent not just the beauty of Indian women, but also the intelligence and poise that Indian women possess. Luis Fonsi is actually from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 just fyi. And coming from a latino, I think the fact that the pageant was held in Florida, where there is a big latino presence as a lot of Cubans, Venezuelans, and Colombians live there, is what truly influenced the fact that there was 4 latinas and one asian. Nonetheless, Aldine definitely didn’t let herself be intimidated and truly shined that night. 🤩✨

La verdad, la verdad este mis universo estuvo mejor que el de diciembre, en el de andrea hubo top 21 por que básicamente había un Excelente nivel de candidatas, y no bagres como en el de diciembre donde hubo designadas y chicas que fue puros huevos son sal, este miss universo fue una gran miss universo, confimen? Lastima por el escenario, pero la reina que ganó aquí fue y es grandes competidora, un virreina en el mis mundo que luego fue mis universo. Alguien más podrá?

I love Andrea, but her win was a business deal. Telemundo became a new broadcasting channel partner of Miss Universe for the first time and Andrea was who they wanted. Even Telemundo hired Andrea right after she passed on her crown. This was also a win-win situation for IMG because they have yet to crown a Latina Miss Universe and by crowning her would satisfy and accommodate the South American market region. But what I just don’t understand is why they didn’t just crown Janick, because she herself is a Latina and she already had a big following before the coronation night. I guess it came down that there are more Mexicans than Peruvians that’s why.

@@xfinity319 Honestly Andrea got hired by Telemundo because they interviewed her and fell in love with her. Janick declined to be interviewed by them so she didn’t build any relationship with them. And this is not the first time telemundo broadcasts miss universe either. They also broadcasted it this year so the new miss universe is also a Latina?

Inclusive en una charla de Tedx Talks Andrea dijo que luego de su participación en el Miss Mundo 2017, quería dejar de participar en certámenes de belleza pero luego se animó a participar en la edición 69 del Miss Universo, y bueno, el resto como quien dice, es historia. Sin lugar a dudas, Andrea Meza es sinónimo de superación y perseverancia, y que gracias a eso pudo traer la tercera corona universal para México ☺☺💓💓🙌🙌✨✨💯💯💐💐

I don't think it was polite of the presenters to say at the mic who was the winner for them, especially when the contestants were right there listening. However, it was an amazing top 5 and all of them looked beautiful. Andrea Meza 🇲🇽 was more than deserving of the crown that night; she never lost her bearing, a true Queen!

In 2019, Olivia was a backstage host and she confidently said that South Africa was going to win, which ended up happening. I think the hosts from last year were equally as confident to say who was going to win, but they weren’t as accurate as they thought they would be.
