When I pulled my buckets, I noticed that there had been some white lithium grease used on the backs of the buckets where they contact the radiator support. That contact usually leads to rust in that area over the years.

Chris, check out Octane Lighting , no halo crap, glass lens metal back housings , takes 9003 type bulbs, direct drop in , high and low have different location tabs on the back, came loaded with bulbs and a free set in the box , $89 bucks for all 4 , I put mine on relays to power them , but doubt I needed to , WAY brighter and very impressed for the price ! I know most are junk , these are not

@@chriscraft77022 hope you bring some Chevelle videos back soon! LS twin turbo swapped my 70’ , used a Colorado 5spd trans, vsracing turbos, learn to weld and built the hot side myself, first drive tomorrow I hope! Your Chevelle videos inspired me to get off the couch and start working on mine couple years ago , thanks for all you share

Can you make videos on how to maintain the chevelle so it is running bullet proof? I just took over a chevelle. It’s my first classic car and am curious as to how maintain the engine and all of its fluids, plus maintenance on brakes and such. You know things to upkeep the chevelle.

the only thing I do like that is I take the carburetor off every 6 months and clean it thoroughly and inspect the plugs... and drive it almost every day... that’s how to keep them running 100% the rest is just like any other car

No they Aren't. Chevelles(at least 68's) are MARKED with an A or B on the Bucket(GM mfg) A=Outer B=Inner. 72 Cutlass has Different Letters Stamped in them as the Adj Bolts are Clocked Differently than Chevelles thus the Bulb Notch Holes are Also Clocked Differently. I Know because I Put 72 Cutlass H/L Buckets on a 68 Chevelle(am Selling) and FIGURED this Out. Cut New Notches where Needed.
