Mattel has gone so cheap lately. 😮 The 65th birthday for Barbie should have been like the classics one. The 90s look and quality.

I got mine and love it! Yes, they are getting cheaper quality and not elaborate like years ago. Disney is doing the same thing. And yes, they could have done better. I'd pay more for better but then people complain it's too much money. I think this is the way of the future with these dolls and Disney limited dolls with less detail and quality. Ten years ago dolls were so much better.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I also think Mattel could have done better with the material of the dress. But she is really a beautiful doll. I live in Germany and paid 85€ via amazon. 🙈

I ordered on Mattel (Wednesday) and got mine on Friday.

I haven’t received mine yet. Mine is a preorder from Walmart and she isn’t shipping til early April 😕. From the videos I’ve seen it looks like they did a good job with her. A lot better than most of the “collector” dolls I’ve seen lately. This one looks really nice.

Shes very pretty - unfortunately very cheaply made and over priced

I think is all aboutbthe dresss so it would be more nice if they decorade with Backstreet dimonds

Since 2010 Matter chose the cheap path for Barbie and as a collector myself, it only gets worse. Pricy dolls with less quality each year, it is what it is. There is a doll called Defa Lucy wich has more quality than a Black Label Barbie. Playline Rainbow High have more quality than a 60 dolar Barbie.... and they are 35/40. Once collectors keep suppporting Barbie as it is, things won't change. And pprobably it will keeps getting worse.

I hate this gown! Looks like the old time prison uniform! Is this the best that Mattel could come up with? It is hideous!
