#65 John Deere 1025R No Backhoe, No Problem. Use the Loader and toothbar

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Even without the backhoe, the John Deere 1025R can remove large items.
We were just about ready to leave Patrick's house on our last visit.
He said, "Oh, I forgot to mention this, could you remove that flag-pole base?"
We didn't have the backhoe with us, so we decided to try to remove it with the Heavy Hitch toothbar.
We obviously had no idea how deep this flag-pole foundation went into the ground.
Even without the optimal equipment, the John Deere 1025R can do the job in just a few minutes.

    Tractor Time with Tim Hi Tim, I don’t so much have questions with this as I do another Artillian product. I know that you are well aware of their quality. Have you gotten a chance to use the Artillian stump bucket? I know it mounts on the pallet fork frame. I was thinking about buying it, and was just curious if you had any experience with using one? Thank you in advance sir! Justin N.

    Lucky you didnt snap a loader arm with the presssure you put on the loader (even with your teeth.. You should have taken the time to remove soil from around it to find how large and how deep the concrete was. You have to repair the lawn anyways. You would have then been able to get under the lip of the concrete and pull straighter up with less abuse to the loader.

    I'm looking for a toothbar for my 1025 tlb? is this tooth bar worth it? do u like the fact that you dont have to drill into the bucket? would you buy again or choose a different design? is it even worth buying? does it perform that much better to buy one?

    Yep. Definitely. The point of this video is that you CAN get a task completed WITHOUT forks OR a backhoe. In this case, I didn't have the forks along. I didn't think I would need them on this occasion. Patrick came up with this task on a whim just as we were leaving that evening. Thanks for watching and commenting! Do you have a 1-series? What kind of forks do you have?

  • @TractorTimewithTim

    @TractorTimewithTim

    7 жыл бұрын

    probably 800-1000lb off the ground, but not to full height. I have lifted 1145 lbs about a ft off the ground with the forks. ...but the tractor did not appreciate it. So, different questions "how much WILL it lift, and how much SHOULD you lift with it?"

    How much better would your 2R have been at this job? I find myself needing to dig like this from time to time and don't love my buddies BX Kubota as i feel like it doesn't have enough umph to get the job done.

  • @TractorTimewithTim

    @TractorTimewithTim

    Well, the 1 series has MUCH more loader umph than the BX! The 2R loader definitely stronger, but it isn’t radically so. I show lift capacities of each in videos.

    Doug, I suspect it was now that you mention it. I didn't know what it was! Thanks for answering that question. I heard that this flagpole was originally instaled by a professional crew. Given how secure it was, I can safely say that they did an excellent job. There were a couple of issues. First, they put the 'grade' of the concrete too high (hard to drive over). Second, they put the flagpole too close to the driveway. I wouldn't want a flagpole there, I would back into it with my car.
