Looks like a nice replica. I recently built another one: the pet shop, consisting of two separate buildings. Not a very spectacular set, but like the green grocer a nice, low priced and good quality addition to the collection of retired Lego modulars. By the way, I noticed on Barweer this week that there are now also mini bricks versions of some of these older Lego modulars which could save some space.

I have the Lego Pet Shop new still in a box. I have been thinking about selling it and buying the Alt-brick version. Would that be crazy? Mini brick modulars? I am intrigued and Barweer / Youmko are having a Dreamy Deals sale starting April 22nd. This could be trouble for the wallet. Thank you for sharing🥰

The interior is pretty disappointing. While many of the new sets feel too cramped, with barely any space for the minis to move around, this one is all empty... But I can see that being a plus for someone who wants to make their own interiors or only really cares about the façade. No jumpers for the ground floor is also surprising, even as spare parts.

Agreed. The inside really shows the humble beginnings of the Lego Modulars and your right, its like they overcorrected and starting packing the insides in later versions. I do want to finish the interior, I am just not sure how. I maybe over-thinking it knowing I will need to come up with an interior for the Cafe Corner as well once I finish that set. The jumper thing is disappointing, I like my minifigs to be outside as much as possible. As my husband says, "It helps to set the scene." Thank you for Sharing 🥰

Hey hey Smashing stuff! Looks like your set contained the things mine was missing - tools, sextants and the hammers for the wrought iron roof furniture. The cat I got was from a Friends set! I did purchase all the missing/wrong stuff from BrickLink. It looks much better now! I did build an interior for mine. It’s now the home of a Johnny Thunder type character and the green grocer himself! The Minifigures too were ok! The hair on the blue overall figure, who I’m assuming is the green grocer had the wrong hair (as does yours), but it’s super rare and I think it only came in this one set. So I presume the company who make the copies didn’t have the right wig mould? The substitute is ok though! Overall, I’m impressed with the set. Even for a copy!

Ah, missing pieces, one of the Alt-Brick drawbacks. I'm glad you were able to straightened it out. I had no idea about the hair, that is pretty neat. To be honest, I am at a loss on how to finish the interior, it is so empty. Did you by any chance happen to add any interior walls? Thanks for the share🥰

@@SheClicksBricks I didn’t, I’m still in my infancy where making MOC’s are concerned. But I did build furniture, a kitchen and some tables. I did the same for Cafe Corner where I put in a coffee shop and a hotel. Again, no toilets. My minifigs must be busting for the loo? My wife has just finished buying all the genuine LEGO pieces for Market Street and the Town Hall. I just finished building a (fake) copy of the Monster Fighters Haunted House and added it to a baseplate and then added garden walls etc.,

@@RobinHullBuilds I am at a very similar MOC stage. I guess there is only one way to figure it out. 😬 Your wife is about to have some serious fun. I am so happy for her, she really put in the work. I really need to try that sometime. This hobby offers up so many different things to different people and can cater to their level of creation, level of ambition and skill level. Just awesome. I think that Haunted House, looks way better than the new version. Great Stuff. Thank you, I always appreciate when you stop by.🥰

@@SheClicksBricks I got it from aliexpress for $106. It's immaculate, feels,clicks and stacks exactly like lego. My set came with 8 little bags of extra parts too

I dont see any reputable stores on Ali Express that has any right now however Hero Toys and Joy do have it. Thanks for stopping by 😀

Did your set come missing some pieces? I also got a knock-off and so far on the first floor, I am missing the mouse and a few small pieces which I was able to replace with my spares from my previous Lego builds. The Cafe Corner knock-off should be arriving any day now.

Actually, the knock-off set had all the pieces. The missing pieces were in a bag that I set aside and forgot about. My fault.
