As a Max Heinzer fan, and a fencer who still believes in honoring you opponent and the sport... I found 8:24 to be very upsetting.

same, this is one of many incidents that have proved to me that heinzer has a very sanctimonious attitude

8:24 has always struck me as the most unsportsmanlike moment I have ever witnessed at the highest level of competitive fencing.

The Swiss shooter has a very ugly fencing and also likes to make the clown, will never be a worthy opponent. Even if he wins for only one point, he only makes the asshole. He does not respect the referee, because instead of giving him his damaged epee, he drops it to the ground.

Psiquiatra de Canosa He’s a bit eccentric, over the top at times, but i don’t think he’s a bad character. When he losses, always seems quite gracious towards the victor.

That really killed me man. My coach always said Max was a jerk but I never believed it. The moment he threw his blade instead of giving it to the referee my heart just broke in teo
