The Mylar on my F-15 is bubbling, how can I repair? My playfield looks great, it has been a HUO only pin, but my OCD can’t handle the Mylar bubbling, I have to fix it.

Glass is tempered so that cannot happen!

Hey Todd, yet another great pinball machine. Also, great comedy on roadhouse. It's very interesting what you are doing to LAH. It was in sad shape, please show before and after. I've had a glimpse from your other videos. I'm look forward to seeing the vids. BTW, something interesting about LAH that no one ever mentions. If that were a new Stern today, it would be a limited edition with the shaker motor, magnets...ect. It's amazing that it has 13 modes and a wizard mode. It's too bad that Arnie's big fat head is on the back glass. It would be a really good gag if you put a paper printout of your head or one of your employees over Arnie's. Lol...it would be an improvement. Atlantis looks really cool, it played well when I tried it in your showroom last year. Thank you for spending the time making the videos!

Another collector made a new backglass with my face on it...that will be incorporated into the LAH video!! So we already are thinking ahead!! LAH is PACKED with stuff...loaded to the gills with effects!!!

Great vid (as usual of course)! Have two Tomcats myself (one complete and the second needing some parts); one of these days I can afford to give them the attention the properly deserve. Learned something new with this video; you CAN use the power supply board with the H.V. section depopulated *with a LED display of course* :)

Loved playing this game as a kid! Question about LEDs - dont they light up faster than a traditional bulb? Is that harsher on the eyes, or is that accounted for somehow?

for sure, thats why i only use traditional bulbs or ocd board. that fast flickering, not so nice..

That's ironic. In my freshman year, my college's lounge had Space Shuttle and F-14 machines next to each other and in that order.

@@tntamusements They were replaced regularly with some of the greats of the late 80's and early 90's like Earthshaker, Diner, and FunHouse. I didn't know it at the time but I witnessing the start of Pat Lawlor's pinball career.

You must have been watching with the volume off!!! I am pressing the test switch that shows all the digits displaying.

I wish you guys could work on my F-14...what's the best method for removing mylar on this one?

Sea Wolf 3 will have to be released as A, B, C, D, E, F...as its 75 minutes long...Part 1 was 6 minutes and part 2 was 8 minutes! Its a mess!

I help you to remember in multi ball there are three red lights they are you enemy's you must go right top corner then lights will turn blue and said she you made a safe landing if you get all three ball in the top right corner you will get a fighter jackpot.

Do a video on the fixing if a shuffle alley - "Understanding Shuffle Alleys"

Mine has factory Mylar too, but I'm worried that if the letters come off of the inserts, how do I deal with that?

Jeff at Classic Arcaes sells those decals...use a heat gun to remove mylar...but consider keeping it

@@tntamusements ok, I'll look into those decals for sure. One thing, my ball doesn't go up the shooter ramp nearly as fast as this one. I added a missing sleeve which helped. Do you have any recommendations? Many times the ball comes backwards down the ramp and gets stuck above the shooter rod and I need to take the glass off to get the ball.

You have to lift the playfield out of the machine to get to them...a real pain

@@tntamusements thanks, i was able to support it on the support bar inside the machine. There are 2 wing nuts that allow the pcb board to pop off to access those lights. Unfortunately, now I've hot 2 flashers on it 1, 5 that don't seem to be consistently working. Reflowed solder, checked for broken lines, changed all bulbs, out of ideas, other than if the actua 2l sockets might be bad?

cold be bad sockets...but you can try cleaning them with emery cloth

Looking at the Road Show in the video, I think I managed to snap up the last NOS of the yellow rubber "wall" on planet Earth for the barricade that's in front of Ted, and that was ten years ago. :) Has anyone made replacements since then? (I sold old Red and Ted ten years ago). All the Road Shows get that black stripe across Ted's barricade, that at first I thought was just dirt, but then I thought maybe Williams later released a version of the wall with a black stripe to cover up the dirt/wear. But I've also seen pictures of what I can only assume to be sticker overlays that are striped at perpendicular angles. I remember changing the rubber barricade was a pain in the ass to get to, and that mechanism always had problems. BUT, the rubber barricade was the way to go as it at least absorbed some of the impact; with the impact registered with optic sensors, as it was the most hit thing in the entire game. On a similar note, I played Stern's Tron yesterday and WOW, the recognizer barricade just simply sends the balls flying all over the place. Then the balls (plural) got stuck in the dimple when the recognizer wall went down, and no matter what they wouldn't dislodge; even with the computer raising and lowering the wall. I had to tilt the game.

To Get The Fighter Jackpot: Spell T-O-M-C-A-T to light the Locks. Shooting the Landing locks the balls. Once three balls are locked, shooting the locks starts Multiball. During Multiball, shooting the locks scores a Landing. The third Landing collects Jackpot. After the Jackpot is scored, all shots to the locks scored 150,000. The Special is lit on the second Multiball. Shoot a lit outlane to collect the Special.

hahaha. 7:57 „now look at this light show“. Still can‘t get over the fact that it‘s the crippled-down later F14 model light show that‘s so much worse than the real thing. Do revert the Service Bulletin, restore the original light show.

I tried to make a ripoff of this machine named f-16 thunderbird and it had a similar theme. However, it was too hard to make and it's sitting in pieces.

so why are their big ball jokes :P as I accidentally said the F word in front of a kid while talking to a former coworker eh his favourite word anyway.. and wheres that discs of tron or is that disks of tron before CD's mucked up the spelling??
