    Hello Alex. And the neighbours said "What the Hell has the zany lady next door gone and bought now?". Remy is happy, Alex is happy and Betty Blue is definitely going to be a happy Ford. This car is going to be lovely after it has been subjected to the Alex Laying On Of Hands. This is going to be a terrific journey to watch and I am looking forward to it. You and Remy make a great couple Alex and your vehicular family is growing.

    I can remember seeing Galaxies racing on the TV; presumably when they were in production. Presumably the forerunner of the Mustang.

    Sounds it just needs a service , check plugs , leads, worth cleaning carb and check float level , yes in my experience tyre pressures are lower with older designs especially USA , the more you use it the more reliable it will be , super vehicle,

    Nice car. I remember when these were new. The engine runs quite well. Just need to fix that starting problem. Leaking exhaust manifold makes them sound a lot worse than they are.

    Alex Lots of rover 75 and 45's I think you need a much wider drive or rebuild your garage right at the back of your smallish garden on the bright side you could turn your front garden into a the car drive. So the other guess is huge barn.. I think I have too many cars 5 and big van.. and no drive or home for any..

    Hi Alex. I've a couple of observations which I hope you'll find of interest. The instrument panel and probably the whole dashboard on your car are identical to those on 59 Fords. Ford has a long history of saving money on RHD export cars by retaining older dashboards. That's much cheaper than designing/stamping a different one every year for low volume RHD production. Also the R/H exhaust manifold looks like it's probably RHD export only, so read that as super rare and take care of it! You might need to know this sort of thing should you have to import any parts for it. Cheers.

    Thank you! Yes it's a weird one as has an older Edsel engine in it (5.4ltr) and edsel dash.

  • @captaccordion

    @captaccordion

    The engine is a 332 FE then? That's another throwback to 1959 if so. US 61 cars would have had a 352 or 390. FE stands for Ford/Edsel. I still reckon that the dash and instruments are 59 Ford, not Edsel! Cheers!

    I love this car! I am from Ohio. Is that a Michigan front plate? Sure looks like it, even though you are in Britain. Its so nice seeing you always having fun and laughing. Something rare in videos now days. I cringed when I saw you drain the antifreeze on the ground. Antifreeze has a flavor that cats and dogs like, so they drink it, then they die from its ingestion. Hopefully you have no pets around outside
