FYI if you wanted the hub drive ebike for dirt trails and uphill riding you could have chosen a hub motor with a 5T or 6T winding. I’m guessing your hub motor has a stamp on it that says 2.5T or 3T somewhere (along with numbers in front of it). The low numbers will give you a high top speed but weak torque… and higher numbers will give you massive torque but less top end speed.

I have a 12kw stealth clone and I take it everywhere. I think the rear suspension is lacking, there's no linkage and the rear swingarm could be constructed better. (a lot of bikes broken at the lower spring mount) Its cool in the sense you can upgrade the internals for cheap. but it feels like a PC rolling over rocks. Internals don't have dedicated mounts, the battery sits inside, the controller held in with zip ties. so I would say its more suited for light trails. (not actual jumps) The seat is also tiny, (likely a 50cc seat) but you could build 2-3 Stealth clones for the price of one fully modded Sur Ron.

I have a question, does the stealth bomber have pedal assist? Or is that defined by eco-mode, sports mode, and turbo mode?

dang i'd expect the range on the stealth to be way higher. what mph do you mostly ride in? if you're pushing 50+ most of the time then it makes sense
@VoltedAdventures
Жыл бұрын
yea I was going pretty fast most of the time, you can actually see the range test video on my channel. If I was to go slower I would probably get 50 miles

About 20miles
Do we know how accurate the estimates are? They are telling me the max speed on 5kw 72v is 50mph. Does that sound doable? Its a big price jump to the 8kw, but you do get a better controller too, but i really think 50mph will do me. For the price of the 12kw, i can start looking at tge new new surron. I got quoted 3890 for that
@VoltedAdventures
Жыл бұрын
I had a 72v 5kw stealth before i got this one and yes it will do 50mph, as a matter of fact I liked the throttle response of my old 5kw better than this 12kw one. I think the tune I have on it is just not good
Is your stealth bomber waterproof to any extent? Like would you ride it in the rain?
@VoltedAdventures
Жыл бұрын
I dont know how much the hub motor will like the rain tbh... as far as the battery and controller, those are inside the body so they pretty protected... but in general I dont ride in the rain anyways....
Were can i get road tires for the stealth bomber guys anyone know id be greatful to find were to grab some. Thanks???

I would look at the current tires you have and see what size they are (should be on the sidewall of the tire) then hop online and try to find the same size for road 🙌🏼

I wonder if anyone has coverted the stealth bomber clone to a mid drive motor like the ko moto & controller using the stock battery that would be interesting to find out see if anyone has thought of doing that type of build I know you would have to change the back wheel because of the hub motor but that is something I don't think I have seen anyone do yet
@VoltedAdventures

Yea no ones done that yet, pretty cool idea tho, Imagine both hub and mid drive together 🤯
@michaelross749
Жыл бұрын
@Volted Adventures a hub drive & mid drive together thats roughly 18000 killawatts together but think of the headache of trying to get both motors to work together plus all the wiring you would need a bac 8000 with a specific tune to get that build right

You have to put pedals on it to make it road legal and make sure it has brake lights and headlights. Im not sure if its road legal if you can limit the motor on a riding mode, but if anyone knows please let me know.
