@@dankennedy7340 roughly 30 miles northeast of us. They are right on the Canadian/USA border. They sit at 7000ft asl and 3600ft agl

To a guy that grew up on a "U" Moline, all that power is unimaginable. The last tractor I drove was a Moline M602 which had 71 horse power, one tenth of what you are driving around.

When I was around ten I greased the pivot on the seat. It took my dad two months to get the seat to stay put. I never did that again!!!

We had a U Moline, A John Deere, R John Deere, 930 Case and an 830 Case..... you could put them all together and not even come close to what that 715 has to offer! Groovy!

Its nice that it actually had metal fuel tanks and the sequential twin turbos is good for fuel efficiency

The cinematography of this channel is on another level. 😮

That tractor is an absolute beast!! Can’t believe only 40% engine load on a 60’ chisel at that depth. Kudos to your Case/IH dealer for getting you on the demo list!!

What a beast that tractor is is! Love the footage! As a OTR trucker, very few people understand the beauty the good Lord has given us to see the beauty of sunrise and sunsets on the same day! Just farmers and truckers only know! Thank you and my God Bless you and family!

Love seeing the old Flexi-coil equipment still in use. We used to run an 800 chisel plow air seeder with coil packer. Loved seeing the chevrons from the packer. Awesome power from the big beast of a tractor!

Welker Farms has some of the best drone shots in the KZread Farm community. It really helps sell Big Sky Country and just how beautiful it is there.

Don't know who does your editing but that opening scene alone deserves a payrise

Nick you sure take videoagraphy to the next level. Especially for a farmer and f16 pilot with not much training in videoagraphy. I tip my hat to you, your brother, and your Father. You're 60fr flex coil is what we here in Minnesota, call a field cultivator. A chisel plow has heavier trip springs on the shanks and they usually put straight chisle points on each shank. A ripper shank has even greater spring pressure. A field cultivator we usually pull 2 to 6 inches deep. A chisel plow runs 6 to 12 inches deep and the ripper runs 10 to 18 inches deep.

Some farms out here in Pennsylvania that have no tilled for years are realizing that every 5-8 years that tilling all the biomass under has increased there yields for a few years.

Down here in the Lone Star state.we call that thing a chisel plow. Use either 4 to 6in sweeps or chisel points. Liked the video and stay safe.🇺🇲

Nick, beginning part of this video, EPIC. Excellent filmography. I really think Case needs to use more of "your" drone work in their advertisements videos.

These videos that The Welker Farms and Fast Ag produce with the scenery of Montana and the best in my opinion. Where can you get such great content, breathtaking scenery great humor and learn about their ways of farming in 2023. My hats off to the Welkers and Tony Fast.

The hood has a weird optical illusion from inside the cab, it's so wide when you look at it from the outside but inside it looks like the 620 or a challenger tractor I love it

Ok, that thing is a beast, idle pulling a buried 60' cultivator, WOW. Not going to count out the new Big Bud... C18 CAT... Huge CAT fan also.... but just wow, CNHI, I knew they would get their 16L in a Quad at some point,,, impressive...

Best video of the year in the field! The camera coverage with the drone footage made it typical of the bountiful harvest videos of the past (without the drought the last couple of years).

I hope CNH is paying attention. Welker Farms MORE that justifies putting those incredible pieces of equipment on demo! I only got 50 acres and I WANT one!

A “mouldboard” plow is a plow and a “chisel” plow is a plow, period!

Most intros I skip, not only on yours, but this one is outstanding. Plus, as the 715 went by, plus the hookups, it a bit over 15 sec. to go by. I don't think you could turn it around here in some Indiana fields. God has given you an outstanding pallet to work with.

Nick, If I win the Lottery I'll get you one! Flew into GTF last thursday, just in time for black Ice and zero degree weather. Had a funeral to go to. Even with all that, I felt I was back home once I hit the highline. Florida had thinned my blood but the Highwood mountains and Sweetgrass hills looked beautiful.

That machine is a beast!!! I've ALWAYS wanted to drive a tracked machine, but even if I was still in the farming community, the UK just doesn't need many machines that size...... especially in the Nofolk area I'm in. I know that some areas of the UK do have larger sizes, but the area in most farms would probably fit inside your largest field. Once you have the labyrinth of roads we have, most fields would be - plow in the ground, drive for 30 seconds, plow out and turn around!! 😂 It's still awesome to see one of those machines in its natural habitat 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

when your 60ft plow and packer is 6-8in deep and its only putting 30% load on the tractor then you know you are gonna have to get into some seriously big equipment to tax that big girl!!! Thanks for sharing and those drone skills just keep getting better and better!

How deep is your seed placement in the ground and your fertilizer placement?

The "unique" pattern left by the alternate coils is indeed a "unique" design. I recall working on the advertising many many years ago. (I was going to university and Uncle Em hired me to help him with the advertising. I tried to steer him away from overusing the word "unique". You see, they used a different machine to make the coil "reverse". It was used for controlling soil erosion.) Uncle Emerson died "young" which seemed to be a an untimely death back in Feb. 1964. His son, Terry recently passed away. Terry Summach was the one who was playing with an old coil spring in the late 1940's. His dad, Emerson, was given the idea. It was the beginning of Flexi-Coil Land Packers. Terry Sumach was the one who was instrumental in diversifying their product line and adding air seeders and many other products. The Friggstads in Frontier, Sask. were bought out when their earthmoving equipment ran into difficult times. The Friggstads were excellent designers and innovators. Flexi-Coil was also known for its R & D Department. Now, Case is using the factory in Saskatoon to produce excellent products. . . . I finished writing my memoirs in Storyworth about half a year ago. I wrote some early history as I knew it from my perspective. It is for my grandchildren. My son and his wife gave it as a Christmas gift back in Dec. 2021. Welker Farms use Case products. My Uncle Emerson would be honoured to have known the Welkers. He was a very personable, likeable person. . . . a "unique" individual. 😊

A toolbar with shanks that has sweeps or shovels, is a digger :) Staggered spaced rows of shanks with sweeps on multiple toolbars is a chisel plow.

I think that beast would easily pull the 80 foot that the 747 big bud pulls! Beautiful drone shots and I hope that winter wheat turns out well for you guys. Keep up the good work!

With Nick's amazing video production, keeping a top of the line tractor in their dooryard throughout the growing season would be short money for elite advertising content.

Watching these incredibly well produced videos begs the question. Why doesn't Case or John Deere keep their best tractor parked in your dooryard throughout the growing season? I despise commercials yet I love watching Welker Farms videos that have a great story while seamlessly weaving in excellent advertising content. Welker Farms has the best glory shots of any of the youtube farming community. Case, treat Welker Farms well because John Deere would love to replace you if given the chance.

Every video is like watching a high budget very well produced cinema movie. Its incredible the work you guys put into these shots and videos. Such an impressive tractor as well! Thank you for all the hard work you do!

We had case tractors on our farm but that is impressive I have driven a lot of different tractors but hands down this makes them like their standing still

with as much advertising this channel does for Case IH im surprised they dont just give you one of those :D

Personally, I think you would have one of the best channels for drone footage, love it! Keep up the great work Welker family 👍

The machine is definitely more aesthetic than the last generation. And it’s good that manufacturers listen to their customers. But it’s a vicious cycle we receive more power they build bigger implements and we need more power. I remember not too long ago we ran the green Steigers and Morris seeders and thought those machines were huge.

You have massive machines on the farm and awesome to get to see them in action

One of the most best starts of a video Nick ..... I Ioved it keep up with the awesome vids...

I was really hoping they’d make a wheeled version. We pull scrapers in the Mississippi delta for precision land levelling to irrigate. Tried Quadtracs and tracks lasted about 600 hours.

Nick, you are an excellent farmer but in another life you could have been an Oscar-winning cinematographer.

I was late watching part 3 due to deer hunting east of Calgary about 2 hours driving time. I am continually impressed with your photography, music, and the equipment that you use on your farm. You have been blessed. Seeing you pull out of the farm is a memorable sequence.

I think the rule is that if they don't pick up the tractor within 2 days, it's yours to keep!! 😃
