@@texpatriot8462 Dude! That Tikka will be like shooting a laser at the target. My only experience with a Tikka was one in 308 so I imagine it's even that much better with a modern cartridge design.

Any handguard installation problem with the triangle handguards or did they just fit on??

Zero issues. Used my thumbs to compress the handguard ring, took the old handguards out and the new ones intended for the rifle gas system slipped right on.

Just built my "North Hollywood" dissy clone with a Bushmaster lower, Del-Ton 16" rifle length gas true dissy upper (.91) gas port, duckbill flash hider, sprinco yellow spring with carbine extension and CAR15 stock. It's my new fave of the vault. Oh yeah, b4 I forget I'm rocking the 100rd real Beta drum (not a korean knockoff) for nostalgic purposes 😉.

Do you know what's sad? You're not allowed to show anything interesting with a firearm, such as modifications or reloading. You may not even get this video monetized. But they'll show the ad with a voice actor pretending to be the Rock for that $6,500 government fund scam without hesitation.

Very true. So far this one hasn't been demonitized yet but that one a few weeks ago where I simply advised peole who may be interested in 3D printing to start downloading files got demonitized a few days after uploading.

Of all of my Ar's this one has always been my favorite. Nice looking rifle and well done.

I have always been leery of a real dissi since you have very little dwell time. The dissi I have has a carbine gas block underneath the hand guards. But it looks like they have sorted out the problems with the current rifle length dissi's; I see a lot of positive reviews. I will probably get a real dissi one day. The thing I like best is the longer sight radius. I use iron sights; don't have to worry about a battery failure.

i got my dissy upper from Delton with heavy barrel and matched it with Aero lower. It has the collapsible stock but I had to swap the spring to Sprinco yellow and it works like a charm. I also swapped out the handguard with quad rails for more options

A couple more upgrades to consider for the reproduction look would be a chrome (or nickel borride) bolt carrier and a 3 prong flash hider. And for anyone that has a fixed carry handle upper, Del-ton sells a great, rifle gas, dissipator barrel!

I live in Indonesia. Obviously a non gun country. You need to be a multi million dollar ceo to have on (its the law, probably). So its airsoft only for me. Not a real ones but plinking steel cans always fun regardless I have a long almost abandoned dissipator airsoft. A2 stock, A2 flash hider, flat top, with A1 handguard. Only need an internal repair

Hows the barrel extension and bolt doing on that Anderson dissipator? I had to return mine because it was destroying itself and now i want another one because i really liked the way it shot, super accurate and no recoil.

MidwayUSA sells AR Stoner 20 cartridge magazines made from aluminum.... I own about 40 aluminum AR Stoner magazines from MidwayUSA.

That old 2 1/2 ton truck brings back memories. Multi-fuel right?

Yep, It's got a Hercules multi-fuel which was the last one before they started replacing them with CAT diesel engines.

Hey BC, That Dissipator looks great. One thing I would change though It seems to have a late model A-2 Buttstock. I believe the M-605 had the early A-1 stock which is about a half inch shorter and did not have the trap door. Numrich has USGI used ones for about $32,00. Have you recently checked the price of the Spuds A-1 upper receivers? I revised my AR-15A1 project and replaced my Anderson Flat Top with Chinesium Handle with a A-! Upper receiver Blem from Brownells for $124.99. I live in the world of crap. My philosophy is buy what you can afford now and Accurize/upgrade later when prices are reasonable. When I was slow building my AR-15A1 project a proper A-1 upper receiver was selling for $350.00. Way out of my price range. Well then you ask......what do you do with the leftover parts when you replace the compromised parts with the more correct ones? Easy, you build another AR-15. I built my AR-15 Carbine from the parts left over.

Thanks for the info I'll have to check that out. Back in my surplus collecting days Numrich got quite a bit of my money.

I'd love to see that gun of yours I have a buddy of mine that has one that is supposed to be a AR-15 but it was made in the configuration that by kit to emulate the m16a 2 with the 16 inch barrel if I'm not mad at me mistaken I haven't talked to his yet well it ain't going to be cold forever

Yep, but you'd need to also swap in a carbine buffer tube and carbine buffer.

Got the complete rifle from Anderson. One thing I might add is that it's a real bargain. You get a rifle that looks and feels (and shoots!) so right for an incredible price. This gun has it going on.

You have it backwards, Real Dissipator was a Bushmaster product and had a hidden 2nd gas block. Real 605 gas system is what you are talking about

Yep, that's a very good forged frame 1911. The only complaint I had was the cheap grips which most people change out anyway.

The big ass problem with videos like this is this ITEM is NOT available to purchase by the everyday American. Just sayin'.
