This was quite an eventful day but ill keep the description quick. While my original plan was to see it at Rattery, a points faliure meant no trains were headed that way so I took a local stopper to Newton Abbot and cycled out to Dainton to find electric fence up in the field by the tunnel mouth. With time running out, I had minimal time to get to Stoneycombe where a lorry engine drowns out much of the audio and I trod on a wasps nest. Still the clip is included seeing as I went to much effort to take it. I then had plenty of time to make my way to Hemerdon where I met ‪@crunchynutsteamfilms5043‬, ‪@blackcountrysteamvideos8021‬ and ‪@WestCountrySteamVideos‬ as we waited for the late running steam special to turn up. I hadn't noticed my camera didn't quite focus properly but I don't think it impacted the video too badly. As me and Dan (‪@crunchynutsteamfilms5043‬) wanted to see it again, it was a tough cycle back to Ivybridge to just about make a train east to Tiverton where she puts on a great show through the station speeding up from Tiverton loops.
