those steam locomotives used to be doing the train services such as Flying Scotsman from Kings Cross to Edinburgh, Coronation, etc but now they’re in the preservation era and pulling trains on the railtours on the mainlines and heritage railways

@@rajesrecipe2492the last regular steam hauled train took place on August 10 1968. All steam hauled trains on the mainline are now railtours
