I tried any fruit I came across at least once. I gave it a tongue test. If it makes my tongue tingle or taste off, I spit it out and wash my mouth. If it tastes edible, I will eat one, then take a sample and do some research on it. But I never let the opportunity of a rare fruit pass me.

​@@blackbwaystill be careful. I read in a survival guide the test should be more like this: burst it in your hands, if it tingles or burns, then wash up. Next, put it just a bit on the tip of your tongue. If nothing happens, then chew without swallowing. Wait like an hour or two. If it's all good, then you might be able to eat it.... might. There are some berries where it's only slightly toxic (mild discomfort and nausea being possible effects), so it could be fine to eat only in small amounts. You sound like a fruit lover like me, but please be extra cautious.

I love berries..but here in Bogor, Indonesia, it's kind of hard growing them..i can buy from supermarket but they so pricey..😃

I grow the majority of these berries! I only grow edible fruits/plants and I have approx 55 different species USDA zone 7a. All in this video are edible except for the bittersweet, and all can grow in temperate climates except for the açaí and Chinese bayberry.

You forgot teaberry, grapes, tomatoes, and bananas

I don't know if I missed it, but did you include boysenberry and elderberry? Great video!

You should be cautious. So of them are poisonous. Although the ones in this video are all edible.

I think you should change the title of the video from 60 to 59 different types of berries because I am from Afghanistan, we have variety of berries, but they are not different types of berries to call Afghan Mulberry During summer we are mixing different types of fresh berries to serve, just like the photo in this video
