Me too maybe a few years younger, if that maybe 2-3 born in 73'.. I just remember this song playing at the roller rink where we lived for 10 years .,.. I had to be younger than 17 because we can never get a ride there like one mother wouldn't pick us up or one mother had to drive us or if none of them would do it we just lie and say the other ones gonna do it and would walk there but was there's a highway called Route 22 which is like the worst highway in New Jersey I had so many fatalities back in the day. They actually changed the name and the number of the highway cause I thought it was bad luck. It has the most fatalities day .. rt 22. Union to hillside .. it may be a 2 to 3 mile stretch and route 22 can take you all the way to New York City all the way to Pennsylvania going West but the most fatalities is that 2 mile chunk of lanes between union and Newark really union and the Pulaski Skyway ridiculous so our parents would absolutely refuse us to walk there because you have to cross over the east side and the west side you got two lanes then you gotta jump over the median and then two more lanes plus we got our skates on us. We got one hand rollerskates like hanging on shoulders with strap, two white stripes I remember be like make fun of my friends parents cause they were kind of dumb. We would get like two flashlights and act like someone picked us up in the drive and they're like you're not leaving and unless somebody drives you were like OK we get two flashlights and just shine it right into the living room window see you later like we just started running us down the street real quick and I was the one that was clumsy so I fell stiff hairspray rolling down the street. I'm rolling down the street. Everybody's looking back like there she goes. She's falling like ughhhhh.. it was forbidden to walk to that roller rink because of that highway, but we didn't give a crap we're getting to that skating rink whatever it takes so we so we're spraying our hair so it's bulletproof and walking so I was probably about 15. I totally forgot about this song completely until my friend played it one time like not too long ago. I'm like holy shit, I totally forgot about that song. I feel bad for people that after us or whatever like my sons generation thing that I am jealous about is they have a lot of pictures of themselves like us we got those foggy pictures of those shitty throwaway cameras we had it you're lucky we even had a camera on us. That's why there's barely no pictures of us with our friends and it's that's what sucks, maybe like two or three on Facebook like oh my God where'd you find that and like God it's so blurry like what crappy camera was that shit had to be the one you spin the black think to the right with your thumb .. in the cameras are so crappy back then if it was like 24 exposures and you went over that it went over the first 10 so you put 10 after the 24 and you weren't even looking at the little number in a little circle, and you went and picked them up and they were all blurry... like what the hell
