Holding is not yanking out of the water. You tilt the tub and gently touch the fish. They also like to nibble on you legs if you walk in their pond. It really TICKLES. I have contact with my Koi fish but would never lift it out of the water. I also find nets are unneeded. They will gladly swim into a container if it is calm and trusting environment.

I keep coming back to this video for reference to see quality at a certain price. Have you talked to Shawn about this fish and what it would fetch in today’s market? Would it be worth less because quality in koi has improved, or more since koi are breaking record numbers in value topping one million dollars 💵 for one fish?
