6 yrs of development of Scots pine

In this video I am preparing tree for the national exhibition. But it is really ready?

    6 years isn't that long in the world of bonsai. This tree looks great already, and I'm sure that if you don't want to show it this year, in a couple more it'll be ready. Scots pines seem to develop very quickly, I only have one but among 2-needle pines it develops faster than any other single flush pine.

    By my experience every tree developes as individual. Some develope really quick, others need more time. But of course there is also difference between species. Thanks for your comment!

    This is amazing. On that very first big-bend in 2017, did you use a trunk splitter before wrapping in raffia in order to get such an extreme curve without breaking?

    No, I didn't split the trunk, just wrapped it with raffia and bend it with shere force.
