No matter which material is in question or whether you are applying super glue, glue for carpet materials, woodworking glue or epoxy, for example. But that is just me and my opinion :)

My Dad was a machinist. When I was seven, I began cleaning his shop. By the time I was in 8th grade I was working on a lathe. By the time I was senior in High School I knew I didn't want to be a machinest. Metal is unyielding and cold. I found wood to be much warmer and the grains were beautiful. Plus wood is much easier to work with all year round. I'm now 64 years old. Retired. I plan on buying a country home with a shop where I can make toys and furniture as a hobby. I love watching wood working videos. Your video was great for what I watn to do. Thanks

Even to this day I enjoy using different ideas to make practical jobs easier. Some of these tips I've never seen and are brilliant in their simplicity. One tip I would pass on is that when using smooth dowels with glue, always make sure to cut a shallow groove along the dowel to allow some glue to escape when the dowel is tapped in.
