6 Week Motorcycle Solo Trip - Sweden & Norway [Full Movie]
Exploring the exceptionally beautiful nature of Sweden and Norway alone on a motorcycle in this documentary and artistic movie.
I chose the music and edited it in a way to represent how I experienced this journey. If you expect a video that is fast paced and full of exciting stuff happening all the time this is not for you. This is not meant to be „content“.
I intentionally didn’t do a voice over or any more explanation than I thought was necessary. I think it’s self explanatory when you watch it.
Please sit back and enjoy.
I started my trip on june 16.2022. I took a car-train from Munich to Hamburg and then the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. The same day I spent my first night wild camping in Sweden.
I arrived back home on july 29. after taking the same car-train in Hamburg on july 28.2022.
Total days on the road: 44
Total nights camping in the wild: 36
Total kilometers: 10.000+ (about 3.500km off-road)
Accidents: 0
Sheeps knocking over my motorcycle: 1
Time spent without total darkness: 5 weeks
Time spent in total daylight: 2 weeks

What an amazing video and for a change just music no voice , a great choice , gave me peace and I could take in every mile and learn from your experience. Danke! 🇬🇧🇩🇪👍🏻🏍
You have made an epic video, love the music. You chose not to do a voice over, which was a great decision. It's just you, the bike, and the fantastic scenery. I am in the UK, went to Bergen many decades ago, and have never forgotten Norway. It's a fantastic country.

Very nice footage and you had an amazing wheather! I really like the ancient nordic style music by Wardruna and other you (and many others) have added, especially when used to motorcycle touring videos in nordic countries it becomes so emotional and powerful 👌👍🙏
Tolle Reise, tolle Bilder. Braucht keine Worte.
Ein großartiger Film.Tolle Musik und Schnitte.

I've lived in norway all my life, been to many mountains but didn't know half these roads exist. This was a proper viking journey, and Im already planning my trip down the same roads, thank you for this.

Beautiful movie love the music and the silence great done ❤
Suka video anda.
Some tourists see more of our country than many of us who live here .. thank you for the maps - I'll save this for my summer planning!
beauty and nice photography and cinematography. i love the colour, super sharp images. beauty colour and contrast.

Great movie! Thank you.
Great video. Have been in Norway on motorcyle many times and love it. Your video makes me want to go there again 👊. Thanks
Norway still my fav biking destination

Very nice video. I do not want to spoil the fun, just point out that offroad riding is illegal in Norway. I have seen fines of over 4000€. Generally, if it is not a road, then it is not legal to ride there. Does not matter if someone has ridden there before you. Some older and little used roads can be over grown, so it is not always easy to tell if it is a legal road. It is not very often checked, so you will probably get away with it, but if you get caught, it could be really expensive.

Hi thanks for the advice. I was aware of that and took the risk ;) Most of the time I was riding on the TET but I know wich parts you’re talking about.
WEll... quite an exceptional experience and the MOVIE. Not very typical one for sure on YT. But informative and well done. Could you share the specs of your bike please? I presume a Tiger 900 ? But more details like manufacture date, tires, extras etc.... I am willing to buy Tiger Sport 660 next year and aim to do some 'adventure' on it. Thx in advance.. Greetings. Mac.

Hi Mac, I‘m happy you like my video. ;) My bike is a Tiger 900 GT Pro manufactured 2020, I use Continental TKC 70 tires for on-and off-road riding, original Triumph crash bars, engine protection and side + top cases. I use a small tank bag and two bags on top of the side cases called „TraX“ for more space, they are waterproof and very useful, all from SW-Motech. I’m sure you’ll experience many adventures on it ;)
Hey I'm overwhelmed, I'd like to do something similiar, but I'm not able to map it out, or find a route I wanna take. Does somebody have advice for me?
Nice photography, but with some voice over, you could get a lot more viewers. It's illusory to keep people watching for more than an hour without any explanation or maps.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I did use many maps, if you noticed. Maybe, yes. But to me this is not about getting views. I didn’t do a voiceover because I felt it would ruin the mood and I think it’s not necessary to explain what’s going on. ;)

In welchen Monaten warst Du unterwegs? Wieviel "TET" bist Du gefahren? Du hast das alleine gemacht? Respekt.

Hello! Congratulations on this video! I couldn't stand up while watching this. Excellent choice of music! Can you help me how to licensing the Myrkur band? I really like them and want to use these tunes for my own videos.

Hi, thank you very much! 😊 As far as I know music artists can give a permit to KZread for users to use their music in their videos. The Video will be marked as „restricted - copyright“, wich means you can’t monetise your videos and any money made by ad‘s on your video will go to the artists whose music you used. I’m not sure if that is 100% accurate but that’s the information I got from the german KZread site before uploading my video. Unfortunately I didn’t find a way to check, if the music I want to use has a permit, before uploading it to KZread. I had to replace some tracks … Hope this was helpful. ;)

No text, no voice? Sorry, but I am not spending almost two hours on a "just pictures" video! I gave up after 5 minutes.

exactly, the comment changes a lot, you can establish a bond with the author, you can learn interesting things, description of roads, places where to go, what to avoid. Unfortunately, just watching the film for such a long time is tedious, if there was a commentary, I would be happy to watch the whole thing.
Vet du var i videon du åkte in i Norge?

Hey, so the GPX data for the TET you’ll find here: transeurotrail.org The part with the closed tunnel is between Naustdal and Storebru, the street is called Ramsdalsheivegen. It’s not the Naustdalstunnelen. Hope that helps ;)
Norway is a beautiful country, but damn this video were boring
what was that on the right side of the road jumping into the weeds between 6:23 and 6:24 It was sort of whit or yellow. I put the video in slo mo at 0.25 and it looks like maybe some kind of cat. House cat, bob cat, whatever is native to that area. Sorry, I have to unsubscribe. Toooo much music. I hate music videos. It ruins everything and no natural sounds. So many think they are Hollywood or MTV. Just disgusting what so many are doing. bye. 🙄🙄
Hello Lucas, did you plot the route you drove yourself, or did you follow the TET? I think you drove a very nice route through Sweden and Norway. Next year I am considering going to Scandinavia by motorcycle, via the Baltic states. This year I drove from the Netherlands to Crete via the Balkan countries, also a very nice trip. Lasted almost 6 weeks.
