Some books to recommend to you. I’m currently listening to The God of the Woods by Liz Moore The In Between by Christos Tsiolkas The feel good romance I’ve finished and loved A Dash of Salt and Pepper Just For The Summer Leading Man Top Secret Orbital

Great suggestions and added several to my TBR list. I have yet to attempt a Rooney book for several reasons, too much angst, little plot and no dialogue quotation marks which drives me insane!

I get that about Rooney. I love the angst. But have learned to deal with no quotations - Cormac taught me well. LOL
Must check out the Garth Grenwell, thanks for this, sounds fabulous. My forthcoming book is an autobigraphical verse-novel called 'Hounded'. I preview it on my BookTube channel. So much contemporary poetry (& books about it) to revel in.
