6 Things you should NEVER do for Women.. (Stoicism)

6 Things you should NEVER do for Women.. (Stoicism)
Have you ever found yourself bending over backwards, changing who you are, or sacrificing your own happiness just to please a woman? You're not alone. Many men find themselves in this scenario, mistakenly believing that this is the key to harmony and affection. But what if I told you that there's a wisdom dating back thousands of years that suggests a different approach? Yes, I'm talking about Stoicism."
Today, we're diving deep into the heart of Stoic philosophy to uncover 6 principles you should never compromise for women-or anyone else, for that matter. This isn't about playing the blame game or suggesting you shouldn't care about the women in your life. On the contrary, it's about understanding how to care in a way that's healthy, respectful to both you and them, and ultimately, more fulfilling.
"Imagine this: You've canceled plans you were excited about because she hinted she wanted to do something else. You've twisted your values to match hers, even when it felt wrong. Or maybe you've lost touch with friends because she didn't like them. Sounds familiar? These scenarios don't lead to the healthy, balanced relationships we crave. Instead, they pave a one-way street to resentment and loss of self."
But fear not, for Stoicism offers a guiding light. Let's explore how to navigate the complexities of relationships without losing yourself in the process. Ready? Let's embark on this journey together."
1. Sacrificing Your Personal Freedom
"In the throes of passion or the desire to please, it's alarmingly easy to compromise our autonomy. You might cancel plans you were looking forward to, suppress your interests, or even alter your viewpoints to align with someone else's expectations. It feels like love, but is it really? Stoicism invites us to question these sacrifices. Are we giving up our personal freedom for affection, or are we nurturing a relationship where both individuals can flourish independently?"
"Think about it. Your integrity and freedom are priceless. They're the very essence of your being. When you trade them for someone's approval, you're not just losing a part of yourself; you're also setting a precedent for the relationship that's unsustainable and unhealthy. Relationships, according to Stoicism, should not be about losing oneself but rather about mutual growth, respect, and understanding, all of which are grounded in the freedom to be oneself."
So, before you bend your will to fit into someone else's world, pause and reflect. Are you acting out of love and respect, or are you sacrificing your autonomy out of fear and need for approval? Remember, a relationship built on the foundation of mutual respect for each other's freedom and individuality is not just strong; it's enduring. Let's not trade our priceless freedom for fleeting approval. Instead, let's strive for relationships that honor and celebrate our autonomy, guided by the timeless wisdom of Stoicism."

I don't necessarily agree with #5. Healthy relationships do sometimes require compromise, but ONLY if your partner reciprocates this. Sometimes you do things for her that you don't care for because it means a lot to her (going to see a play, for example), and she may do something for you in return that means a lot to you, like going to a car show or something.

A cogent summary of these six core beliefs in a single statement is : avoid marriage. You can't agree to disagree with a sibling from same womb let alone a complete stranger you met because you are looking for double reciprocal incarnations. Even the son of man was wise enough to stay away from women

  • @DrBesh

😂😂😂😂. It's to avoid sex in total. The first mistake a man makes is to have sex. Once tasted, he is glued forever and all his actions will be rooted in getting laid effortlessly, this the mad rush to get money and other things money can buy to attract the best among women. One who has side stepped sex or can regulate it so tightly is the one that is free.

I recently found myself forced into a close living environment when my landlady was an obvious controlling character, who had a sexual attraction towards me. That was a really frightening experience. I got out of there after 2 months. The memories are still haunting me. I got something out of it in the short term, but I think I would have lost my mentality in the long term. As a Sigma male, this was a very disturbing experience.

So far atleast the top 10 comments I've read here,, not one person admits to any of these mistakes. I've been with many women in my life,, and about 5 or 6 serious relationships. In those serious relationships I've made most of these mistakes. What I called "not understanding women" was really me making these mistakes at one time another within the serious relationships that failed. My number one mistake that's not on this list is putting my faith in my lord first. And setting boundaries around them understanding and or being a believer in the same faith as myself. I admit I've made these mistakes on this thrope. This taught me it's me not them.

For those of you who are Americans, these lessons are tricky because we live in a philosophically atomistic society. Atomistic means that each and everyone of us is an isolated atom: This is the American sense of freedom. Other Western societies are more cohesive because they are not atomistic, even in Europe. The lesson for us Americans to learn is that being selfish is not a virtue, least of all greed is good. We need to reinvent Capitalism under entirely different values or it will die.

As in governing or dominating power. like A KING (e.g. REX) would do/have (sovereign, governor, dominator, etc = REGNATOR, from which we get the word 'reign'.) I like unchecked rain. Sudden showers can be a blessing that equalizes everyone, particularly in warm weather. Maybe not acid rain, though. I guess that should be checked. ^^ j/k like the vid. I replied that we are not in a relationship so it's alright & so it has been 4 years and now she's making a move and asked me but my response was it's good that we are best of friends and my preference is maybe in the future as time goes along who knows but she responded we might be older by then where women features becomes like an old oak tree.My response was who knows what will happen as only true love will prevail and love never dies.

Your comment displays a thoughtful consideration of the situation and communicates your feelings clearly It's important to acknowledge her perspective while also expressing your own boundaries and preferences How do you envision navigating the balance between maintaining your independence and potentially exploring a deeper connection with someone who values close relationships differently?

@dusengejmv250 ...but he's NOT criticizing it, but simply saying that this is likely AI generated!😮😮😅....& it IS!😂...But it doesn't matter because it's only the computer repeating what a real human has analyzed & has programed the computer to repeat.😁😉

Being a woman, these are good rules for everyone, both male and female. The part of this I would like those men who practice Stoicism to reexamine noted in this video is the piece about emotion. Stoicism practice in its true form does not include being devoid of emotion or ignoring emotion, it is the healthy expression of emotion through clear communication. Men have historically been taught that if they are “real men”, they are “STOIC”; showing little in the way of emotion. This is not healthy for the man himself or the relationship. Conversely a male or female in a relationship should not vomit their emotions onto another in order to seek attention or control.
