    as for someone currently in ed recovery it helps so much to hear stories from other women that went through the same things, to just not feel alone with those weird, sick thoughts and behaviors! thank you Anna for sharing, I am a huge fan of everything you do (literally) and am soo happy that you found your way into happiness and freedom! we got this!

    Anna I had the same experience with you. I weighted myself everyday, and I lost a lot weight, make me looks sick and still thought I was not good enough. I lost my period for half year, and lost lots of hair. However, I’m totally a new me now, I don’t care my weight, I do exercise to make me feel good, and I have good sleep, eat healthy most time. I’m very happy me now❤❤

    Hi Anna, I don't know if you read but, I wanted to thank you, because thanks to you today I am starting to see exercise in a healthier way, I have been struggling with my weight for years, due to excessive training I lost my period for 1 year, my hormones went crazy, I restricted myself a lot in my diet, I lost the weight I wanted to lose, but all this process also unleashed me heart problems, thank God today I have psychological and psychiatric help, because dealing with the anxiety of gaining weight because you feel that if you gain weight no one will love you (as you mention in the video) and that your head all day long makes you feel bad about what you eat is not healthy at all. So thank you for your advice and for the peace and joy you transmit when you talk. Greetings from Colombia.😊

    Love this video! As someone restarting their fitness journey after years of all or nothing and then going through a long period of sickness because my body was worn down from other life stressors. Because of your videos, I feel more inspired to listen to my body and how I feel rather than basing my progress on other external factors. Thanks for all you do!

    It is so sad the amount of years and months we spendes feeling like crap 🥲 we may have reached our "weight goal" but for me, and probably for a lot of us, that still didn't make us feel better. Luckily there is a lot of movement about what is actually important and healthy. Thanks for sharing Anna ❤

    Danke! Thank you for having the necessary courage of sharing your experience put this way. You are very kind and warm. While i am on the other side of the story (being "fat" in my teen and traumatized by society and familiy that i should not be and that is horrible - cca 85kg, 160cm at age 25- loosing weight - aprox 30kg, having regular menstrual cycle but with heavy pain - improving the pain after loosing weight) i am still obsessed with calorie tracking, calorie burning (going to the gym and ignoring sometimes the warm up etc) so i found myself actually still doing those "mistakes". I am improving and I admit that for example the calorie tracking help me staying in a "control" which help me psychologically also(even though i am not that strict anymore), sometimes it becomes unhealthy because in hard days i just look at the number not at the quality of food or drinks. Your shared experience and your honesty will help your followers to get better.     we definitely need a video about period! unfortunately, now i have the same problem and nobody knows the reason. I suppose that it might be because of diets or smth, but youre experience can really help with understanding not only for me, but for all girls in this situation

    this was so helpful thank you so much, i have always been on and off with working out consistently, but being a student doing so many other things has exhausted me sm that i always am like oh i'm too tired to go workout, but when i do workout i feel so much better yet i still make excuses. i want to feel healthy but am not taking the steps to do it but now that school is out for the summer i want to build my habits, wish me luck 😭

    This is so true. I started my fitness journey in April and I am soooo grateful for all the tips, advice, and warnings people provide nowadays. Before I looked into it, I was barely eating, weighing myself every day, and had set unrealistic weight goals. The healthy amount of weight to lose in a week is usually about 1-2 pounds. If you are losing anymore you are probably not providing enough calories for your body, your body still needs nutrients. Plus you can end up damaging your metabolism which helps you lose weight in the first place. We should focus on helping and not harming, so yes it’s okay to try to lose weight especially if you are overweight (like me) but you should be trying to help your body and not harm it. I’ve instead set a much more realistic goal and still find ways to treat myself. I usually lose about a pound a week (since early May) and although sometimes I give into food impulses I’ve found that I’ve gradually gained more control. I don’t let myself carry guilt either if I have a mess up day (I’ve had 1 or 2) and instead just figure out how to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

    Hello ! Thank you so much !!!!! People need to know that ! I am 18 and I have already made ALL of these mistakes... I struggle to eat instinctively, I have NEVER had my period, I struggle to have rest days, to socialize... But it is a relief to see that you have gone throught and dealt with of this ❤ my sister is anorexic, she lives in the same house as me, and do about 3.5 hours a DAY of workouts (while having to deal with high school life) so it is even harder to just focus on being "normal" and healthy, and not stressed. I hope she'll see this video... Thank you ❤ You really do help us ❤

    I have been stepping on the scale daily for nearly 20 years and I love it! I don’t care for daily variations but I do look for trends and monthly averages. I can’t afford to not monitor my weight. I also track all food and have been for well over a decade

    Hey, Anna thank you so much for sharing this. Can you plz share more about your bad knee problem. I got diagnosed with Chondromalacia in February. I had to pause my training sessions. Now i am trying to get back. But it's not that smooth as want it to be. Really hard to find some info on recovery and how to train your lower body once you got bad knees😢

    Yesterday was my rest day from working out and if I’m being honest I did feel guilty. I feel like we are trained to feel guilty and sometimes it’s so hard for me to stop my brain from going there and I feel like I just make myself feel bad about myself too much. And it makes it so hard when I go on social media and see all these other people working out and being active constantly. (Even though I know they too must have rest days.) So for me this was a much needed reminder! You are so inspiring and help me feel confident, love you so much Anna! ❤️

    Btw If you’re a young girl around 11-14 and don’t have a period for about 2-3 months AND (this is important) eating clean, working out and just making good life style changes, it can actually mean your body is trying to grow more! And it’s not a bad thing😁

    I have an ed and it really changed for me when I talked to a professional about my eating and sport habits and he explained to me the importance of carbs and fats for a female body and how I can take care of my body so I get my cycle back. Now I do cycle-based training so that I only do light movement in my red-week, then harder sport in the proliferative phase and lighter workouts during the secretory phase. Before I only wanted to eat as many vegetables and proteins as possible and now I track my macros more carefully. A little more than half a year later I got my cycle and a good feeling about myself back. I am sooo thankful for that change❤

    Anna, I‘m so grateful that you talked openly about that how dangerous a vigorous fitness regimen can be to your body and your hormonal system.🩷🩷🩷 I stressed my body so harshly with overexercising and strict dieting during puberty that I have lean PCOS since I‘m 16 year old. Up till now, there‘s no cure for PCOS. You can just manage the symptoms which is what I‘m doing.

    Es muy cierto lo que dices, he aprendido ha no saltarme el pre/calentamiento y también el enfrentamiento luego de terminar mi rutina. Además agrego una o dos veces por semana una buena rutina de movilidad ❤ o Yoga y las tuyas son buenísimas... 😊 Saludos

    Hi Anna! I'm a big fan of yours and I love being active and eating healthy but I also balance it and I give myself rest days. I'm concerned about one thing about me that you mention in your video which is a girl's period. I am about 15 and a half years old and I still don't have my period. All my friends have it and I didn't care much about it since they would always complain about having a period and I would be happy since I don't have to experience it, but in this video you brought up some concern to me.     Ich versuche im Moment ebenfalls meine Periode zurück zu bekommen und es hilft mir so sehr dabei, dir zuzuhören - man fühlt sich so verstanden! 🫶🏼 wüsste gern, wie genau du es geschafft hast, sie zurück zu bekommen, ob du komplett auf Sport, vor allem Cardio/ HIIT verzichtet hast und wie lange es bei dir gedauert hat.

    I am 17 years old now and started my fitness journey since 8 year but weight loss journey two years ago and I was doing restrictive diet then it end up slowing my metabolism so I try to eat and I do but I still feel guilty like I float between the skinny fat or slow metabolism (endomorph) thing and found it to figure out the actual way I should be using. Can you please save my future letting me know if body types are really the things those matter?

    It's not necessary for all women, but please please please do not feel scared of gaining weight. I lost my period for 1 year because I was really underweight and trust me, I was terrified, but you cannot live a normal life if you can't accept weight gain. I had to gain 7 kg for my period to come back but it's different for everyone. I know it's scary but sometimes you have to do scary things. I've lost 3 kg now from that weight gain and that's where I feel my best. Think about health, not a number 💕

    In my culture we are encouraged to overeat and be fat thinking it's a sign of cuteness especially if you're fair skin tone Like skinny culture fat glorification ( chubby culture) was imposed on me and it gave me severe periods cramps and almost reached a hypothyroidism Now I lost weight eating balanced and getting skinny shamed but I feel better

    Hi Anna, ich habe eine Frage: ich habe erst vor ungefähr einem halben Jahr meine 1. Periode bekommen. Danach hatte ich sie zwei monate nicht und danach wieder lange pause. Vor 2-3 Monaten hatte ich sie zuletzt und jetzt wie gesagt schon länger nicht. Isg das normal? Meine Mutter meing schon… Schonmal danke und ich liebe deine Videos ❤️❤️❤️

    Hallo, wenn du noch sehr jung bist und deine Periode gerade erst bekommen hast, ist das völlig normal, dass die erstmal unregelmäßig ist. Wenn das länger so bleibt oder du sie wirklich länger nicht bekommst, würde ich trotzdem vielleicht bei einem Arzt vorbeischauen... aber erstmal keine Sorge!!! :)

    I struggle with rest days . I’m so sore but I don’t want to rest. I want to keep working. Also with my eating. I try to eat intuitive but I don’t know if I eat enough and it’s all related to my mental health . My mental health is not good right now
