I come from South Africa and there's a thing called virginity testing(for girls only) in my culture which literally helps a lot regarding preventing teenage pregnancy. We are only allowed to be sexually active at the age of 21 (some even wait for marriage to increase their lobola money) .

Around where I live each county picks like a few of the high schools to have them and if you get pregnant you can transfer. I think the locations are chosen to help distribute coverage too. My high school was one of them and to be completely honest I never even noticed it, as in it was pretty discrete, which I think is nice for the parents

People have sex, maybe you didn’t at that age but some do and there’s not much we can really do about it. I have a friend that’s 19 and has a 2 year old daughter, Aspen. Her parents were not supportive whatsoever and told her to move out of the house. She now lives with her fiancé and is getting married in 2 weeks. It was really sad to see her go through that and I’m glad most people in this video had supportive parents
