Citizens should be made aware via Public Service Announcements by the Authorities /Electronic Media/ Radio…TV/Bloggers that the Runoff is going to be Compromised one way or the other whenever there’s unstable Weather🌨️ conditions or during the hurricane 🌀 season. All the gully in Jamaica is in a deplorable way, the amount of plastic bottles that are floating in the drainage, it's not suppose to be, in Spanish Town near Wellington Rd that drainage hasn't been clean for years, the water is so green and stinks, they water is stagnant. I do concern above residents who are doing business, and for those partially sighted falling into this drainage. The Priminster needs to visit Spanish Town to see this deplorable drainage conditions. Who is responsible for such budget? Clean up Jamaica sideways. 🇯🇲

It's been years this gully have not clean as fi this new road weh dem mek in Seaview leading to Marcus Garvey drive as rain dew the road flood because that road/ bridge right at the gully intersection needs to redo🙄🙄

Retired police officers need immediate attention...no one to talk to. Persons can only tell us that they have no idea when our payments will start. Every topic on the book as if we don't exist. I came to ja and drove to cash hill in Hanover , drove pass Jericho , Cascade , Patty Hill and the roads are theachrous !! It took me 1 1/2 half to get there because the roads were so bad !! Where are the MP and councillors for those areas ?? It’s a shame

They are only spending all of the money in Kingston. What about Black River? No one recognized, we in Black River. The road from Santa Cruz to Black River. It is a shame and disgrace.

It's no good cleaning the gullies if people are going to keep throwing their rubbish in there. What's needed is more cameras on the roads, more police presence, and to give fines like parking tickets to those dropping rubbish. Maybe do advertising to forewarn people.

Provide receptacles that citizens can see with a view to dropping their litter , instead of in the gully, sidewalk or in the street. Also run a campaign on civic pride and cleanliness. Accept that ja..dutty, extremely dutty and bring in mandatory fines for the transgressors. Learn from our neighbours: Trinidad &Tobago, Barbados, Cayman, the Bahamas etc where these things are in place and the streets are clean.

6 Billion to clean the gully = 5 Billion direct skimming (for mansions, high vehicles and mistresses); half a Billion for politically connected workers; half a Billion on supplies (equipment and materials)...Rinse and Repeat in 4 years.

How is that worth 6 billion? 🤨 Stop scamming your citizens.

More than half of that will go in the Big authorities pocket and more than quarter to the contractors and a little to the person who actually clean it.
