===========
Is your spouse having an affair? In this KZread video, I’m going to share with you 6 signs that this might be happening to you.
Hey KZread, Brad here. I’m KZread’s #1 marriage and breakup expert, and this is probably one of the most difficult topics that I’ll ever talk about. Infidelity is one of the biggest marriage destroyers. And a lot of the times, even the strongest of marriages can’t even survive an affair.
But before I dive into these signs, I have to talk about a couple important facts… and these facts might be a little unsettling to you no matter what situation you’re in. Fact number one is that your partner could be showing almost all of these signs and still not be cheating on you. You’re going to have to take this video with a grain of salt because you can never be 100% sure until your partner admits it to you… or if you catch him or her red handed. However, the signs I’m about to talk about are most definitely an indicator of something wrong in your marriage, so it’s important to keep this in mind moving forward.
The second fact is… your partner could be displaying almost NONE of these results and STILL be having an affair on you. In fact, it’s estimated that the vast majority of affairs go undetected. I know, if you’re in a happy marriage, this may be a hard fact to swallow… but facts are facts. Unfortunately, some people can be such amazing liars that their partners never find out.
We also have to keep in mind that affairs can happen in good marriages too. Just because an affair takes place doesn’t mean the person committing the act is evil or an ‘awful person’. It is possible to salvage a marriage even after something as daunting as an affair. Just remember that no matter how difficult things may be for you in your marriage, you must maintain a strong, confident, and positive outlook if you have any chance to save your marriage.
So without further ado, here is my list of the top 6 signs your spouse may be having an affair.
1.) Your spouse gets aggravated easily. If your spouse is constantly picking fights with you about seemingly mundane things, it might be a sign that something is brewing deep down inside. So if your spouse is making you feel like you can’t do anything right, or you just seem like you can’t do anything to make your spouse calmer and more forgiving, it could be a sign their mind has been wandering lately. If this is happening to you, it’s important to NOT snap back at your spouse… for now, keep a cool head and find the right time to calmly ask your spouse why they’re acting this way.
2.) Your spouse is becoming emotionally distant from you. If your spouse is acting a little quieter, more withdrawn, or even depressed and sad, it could be a sign that there’s something going on that he or she isn’t telling you. Again, like I said at the beginning of this video, this might be a sign of something that has nothing to do with an affair, but rest assured that if your spouse is acting this strange, you can bet there’s something up. Tread carefully when you’re with an emotionally distanced spouse… if something is really bugging him or her, you could really tip them off with the wrong words. Instead of prying, approach your spouse from a position of support…say something like, “I know something is wrong, and I really want to help. If you don’t want to talk about it now, then I understand.” Start from there and see where it goes.
3.) Your spouse is working longer hours. If your spouse is working beyond their typical work hours, then this might be a sign that there’s some infidelity that might be happening. If he or she is coming home late and/or taking some strange work trips, this can be a big indicator of infidelity.
4.) Your spouse wants more “space”. If your spouse is uncharacteristically asking for more space or ‘room to breathe’, you can be sure that something is up…especially if things haven’t always been this way. If your spouse is asking for more space, then give it to him or her and continue monitoring how they’re acting. Sooner or later, you’ll be able to bring up this issue to your spouse and attempt to get to the bottom of their peculiar behaviour.
If you feel like your marriage is strained or if you feel like your spouse is slowly pulling away from you… then head on over to MarriageGuy.com and watch the free video presentation on that website. In it, I go over 3 ingredients that every successful marriage needs to have. Again, that URL is www.MarriageGuy.com.

    Here’s a trick. Go to her job, leave a bouquet of flowers on her car. Make sure you’re not seen by anyone, wear a good disguise. (The weather is getting cold so a scarf and a big wool hat wouldn’t be odd) Go home. If she mentions the flowers, she’s loyal. If she never mentions the flowers, she isn’t sure which guy put them on her car.

    toneman335 what causes not to have trust in someone is when someone is not truthful and all these dark secrets keeping from your soulmate. In order to be happy with your soulmate by vice versa is for the man and the woman to be open and honest with each other to have an open relationship meaningful that you can trust your soulmate. When there's no trust is because there was no communication with each other. No one from either side knows how each other feels. I am so sorry to hear your sadness and I really truly hope that you have a better life then what you have now.

    That's exactly my problem. I saw the signs and confronted her. She tried to deny, but before she did I showed her that I saw all the messages, all the story. The conditions on why she did it, aren't usual, after 18 years, I was working abroud and a former high school sweet heart showed up... I've been trying to hold on, but the trust just isn't there. I can't trust her anymore and my gut never failed me, my gut told me that something was going on... And it was. Now it tells me that I can't trust and it's driving me insane...

    Spot on. I’ve been separated for 2 months now from my wife of 20 years. When she first let me know that she wanted to separate and moved out, it was very hard for me. I had a nervous breakdown at work and was sent to the hospital for two days, and was on the verge of being committed to a mental hospital. The biggest signs I noticed were the change in her appearance (she started walking everyday, lost weight, put more makeup on, and styled her hair like she was going to a club before work) she was emotionally distant - stopped saying she loved me, stopped calling me dear or hunny. She eventually said she “wanted her space” All of this seemed to happen for months. I knew she was unhappy so I tried to get closer. Asked to go on dates but she stopped wanting to go out - almost like she didn’t want to be seen with me. I am currently on stress leave from work. I’m an emergency medical responder so I can’t do that job under extreme anxiety. We have an 11 yr old daughter which I’m even now wondering if she’s even biologically mine. Our daughter is not taking this separation well and my wife blames me for this. I’m starting to feel a little better, counclilling, medication, and time heal a little bit. But I know I’m still going to have bad days. (The day she posts a pic on Facebook with her “new” bf will be especially hard I think) I am starting to come to terms with this. I still love her though despite the gaslighting and neglect over the past few months. (I feel like I’ve been mentally abused) I’m far from perfect but I still think I’m a good person, and a great dad. To anyone else whose going through this - I know the world seems like it’s falling apart. Get some support - you’ll come to terms eventually and go on with living - that scar may not go away anytime soon though

    I got one.....married female asian worker usually parks her car in front of office to go work safely....its 15 footsteps to enter. But nowadays....I often see that asian worker...instead of parking in that area where there IS available parking in front.......she ends up parking NEXT to this white dude worker's truck....almost every chance she gets....unless another worker beats her to the parking stall.....it takes her approx 40 footsteps to enter the shop. Since he comes in early and she arrives about 1/2 hr later, and its still dark......wonder if my work friend would "see something unusual" and tell me "guess what I saw?".....they were pretty CLOSE to each other.... Yes Brad, I read what you have written to me and it does make sense. In my life in relationships. I have never cheated and I wouldn't know how it feels to cheat? But I as an individual wouldn't take that approach to cheat. Two wrongs doesn t make a right! I feel if someone cheats one needs to ask the person is to why did she or he chose to cheat? Its got to be a reason for their actions? From there if one wants to save their relationship is to talk it out and work it out. But if one doesn't want to by them giving excuses for their actions and refusing to admit that they are at fault then I honestly feel that it is best to move on!

This happened to me, but I knew in my gut that she was cheating, I found out that I was right and he dumped her after just two weeks she tried to come back and started calling me EVERYDAY but I told her I would get a restraining order against her. Then I changed my cell number,I saw her ten years later at a funeral and walked right past her. When I found out that a woman has cheated I move on immediately and there is no turning back. The one thing I have always maintained is my dignity and self respect!!

    If they cheat on you then they will do it again! Oh, they will say it will never happen again, but it will. If a man REALLY loves a woman, she is all he can think of, all he wants, he feels he can't live without her! That's how you will know if he really loves you! And the sad part... if he cheats on you, and if you stay, he won't respect you, and then the next time he is tempted it will be easier for him to cheat again!

    Love that you start with the disclaimer that signs aren't proof, although that can make things feel more confusing if you're being lied to... It's easy after a binge of KZread videos like this but not as responsible, to feel certain there is an affair going on... and that makes it really difficult to confront them about your concerns in a calm way, without snapping.

    I believe some of these signs/changes in personality come before a partner cheats. Usually they already emotionally left the relationship which then in turns moves to a physical leap whether they ask to separate/divorce which would be easier in the long run than cheating. So keep an eye out if they start to do these things because if you want to save your marriage you need to communicate with them before they completely check out of the relationship. If they start to share less of their day with you or they want to spend less time with you then please speak up. Becuz after that its pretty much all down hill. Once they're doing 2 or more of the above mentioned signs/changes then the relationship is usually over for them. Good luck 👍

    Hey Brad, I just happen upon your youtube channel after looking for some answers. I am very melancholic these days as my husband is acting very strange lately. To define strange, he stays out with friends often late at night, checks out other women, less to no sex, always seems a little distant. When I ask him as to why he is reacting to me this way, he grows defensive and picks a fight with me. I stopped everything and backed off. But the thing is I love him unconditionally and it breaks my heart that once a very loving spouse has turned so cold,aggressive and distant towards me. What should I do?? I love your channel and immediately subscribed because I can totally related with how you explain things. Thanks Anna

  • @BradBrowning

    Don't ask him why he gets defensive. Be more specific with your question to him instead. Something like "When you do this (insert something he does), it makes me feel (insert whatever you feel) " and see how he reacts to it. Anyway how long has it been going on? If he's generally acting cold/distant, this is the video for you: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYyhscFxdpbKd8Y.html

I have found for myself is when you start noticing small differences, such as distance, limited eye contact, edgy, smug, appears to be thinking of something else when you talk to them and does not respond, like a blank look on their face and you reiterate the question. No intimate exchange of conversation, such as,"are you ok? Is there something on your mind that you want to talk about, or what's going on you seem diffrent." Out of the clear blue they make mean, cruel, and hateful remarks, I knew something was up and they wanted out of the relationship. Time to cut your losses and get out. I went to no contact mode and never spoke to them again. Wasn't even going to ride that marry go round again. It was time for me to let things be and move on.

He always made me feel like there was nothing right. So he could leave in a fight. Emotional distant, depressed and sad, He started working ALL WEEKEND FRI through SUN. He asked and took a lot of space. I didn’t monitor his activity. His appearance changed dramatically working out, new clothing style. He changed names on his phone to his Mom and Sisters names. Also, dating websites big red flag.!, no one realizes that these dating sites are loaded with cheating spouses looking for affairs thank you!!!

    May I also add- They will also take vacation days (you dont know about)- AND leave early OFTEN (keep an eye on the cashflow and hours worked if you can) They typically conduct this during the WORK DAY. Also they will make up "courses" they have to take. They will pre empt a "getaway" story (your gut will be off) it will have TONS of details or be VERY vague)...something like " oh ya I have this course they want me to take next October (but Im not quite sure if Im going or not yet" )..-this is so they can check the other persons schedule if it matches AND throw you off "suspicion" by telling you ahead of time its for "work" - also they will begin working weekends out of the blue and lots in a row. . Improvement of hygiene, listening to different types of music or different movies they never liked before or going on a diet - oh and I got this one 2 days ago ( his new "Co worker" stopped in (LOL) and gave the owners wife (On a Saturday..... so she wasnt even "WORKING"-also Im told the male owner is the ONLY one there on a Saturday) - some bread she made AND he said "Ya Ill take one too" (basically baked goods given by "customers" / or "co -workers" ) - basically he wanted to eat her "baked goods" (in MY house) and made up an excuse ahead of time where he "got it" (which probably was NOT at "work")- Also- different kinds of alcohol than they usually drink (they will tend to MIRROR the other persons language as well).

    The truth is, a person can still be in love with his/her spouse but still cheat. Love flies out the window. I think the only way to make sure your not cheated on is to marry someone who has a very strong sense of commitment, who makes a big deal about integrity and honor. Fact is, love flies out the window in many marriages but if your spouse is the type who values commitment as much as love, chances are that person will do anything and everything to keep the marriage intact.

    Emerson Guhiling Not necessarily. Men seem very interested in marriage and having a family. Once marriage takes place and a beautiful woman is their wife, everything starts to change. Infidelity seems like a dominant part of most people, nowadays . However, it’s the most valid legal reason for taking a spouse to court for a divorce. But sometimes cheating is so hard to legally prove.

    Ha! My marriage of 20years has shown all of these signs all the way through. Neither of us has had an affair. These could just be the way conflict happens or the way we respond to conflict. Working late for long periods of time, that could just a pursuit of building a business or career and neglecting marriage because life requires you to work hard sometimes will happen. I'm not sure you can point to these things as definitive signs - as you rightly point out. All marriages WILL reach the point where one or more or all of these signs will become real, this is just the way marriage works. Conflict is good for marriage - it is how we become mature people.

  • @BradBrowning

    @BradBrowning

    That's actually fact #1! LOL. If you take time to review the earlier part of this very video, I never said this is definitive. It's around the 35-40 second mark. :-) Anyways neglecting your marriage or rather, being complacent towards each other, is very common after being married for decades. But it can actually be deteriorating. So you both have to be careful you don't fall into that rut. Take care!

    It really depends on you both. Most of the time, a lot of people would move on, but a few would still fight for the relationship, so this all depends which side you're on and what your views are. But take into consideration about what I’ve mentioned here, too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2Zrtq6eqbjTp8o.html There is no right or wrong answer here because it is your relationship and it's personal to you. Make sense? Anyway men and women cheat for different reasons, but if you think your ex is worth it and if there's been a genuine connection between you two before the cheating happened, then try to see the roles that you BOTH played that led to all this mess and see once and for all if it can be resolved or not, okay? Really take your time before deciding though and be sure not to make any hasty decisions from an emotional place. Take care!

    My daughter went over to her friends house and witnessed her friend treating her father and step mother in a horrible way. I sort of brushed it off because sometimes kids are brats. A few weeks later my daughter comes home and tells me that her friends father had gone on a dating website looking for another woman while still being married. It all started to make sense. The worst part is, now my child has been exposed to a cheating couple and the effects that affair is having on her friend. My daughter started to tell me she never wants to get married because men and women cheat and I'm so sad that she has to deal with this adult BS when she's only nine. How do I handle the situation with my child without trashing my daughter's friends parents?

  • @BradBrowning

    @BradBrowning

    4 жыл бұрын

    I understand how you feel as a parent, however, it's important to put trust in your daughter. That incident she witnessed was just a one-off and I'm sure she will experience many more experiences as she grows older, some will be bad but some will also be good. Trust in your daughter to make the right decisions as she grows older. At nine, you're probably worrying too much. But since it's making you uncomfortable, how about setting up her friend to visit your house instead of hers?

    I start arguments, but I'm not cheating. I just want my husband to spend more time with his family. He makes excuses to leave the house and won't be back for hours when it used to never take him that long. He's being very distant, very emotionally withdrawn. I ask him if there is someone else he hesitates. I don't know what to do. We've been together for 5 years we have a 16 month old son. It's hard.

    If your spouse was having sex relationships before marriage and before meeting you it is difficult to not having an affair while being married. You only think how is going to be with a different person and continue to compare sex partners all the time. But if you only loved one person all your life then it is much easier to be faithful,my opinion.
