The first one was dumb, mainly because those "behaviors/ habits/ tendencies" are induced by an outside force..... Human conscience. Remember anyone and everyone who owns a household pet like a household pet falls under the "domestication group" while the ones who don't fall under this category are people who truly understand coexistence. Alot of animal owners/ pet owners are actually promoting animal abuse rather than seek animal growth with human assistance. Humans have zero symbiotic relationships with any of the animals that exist today. 😂😂😂 We just gaslight each other which forces us to be self domesticated. What's make up? Domestication. What's comfort and convenience? Domestication. The shit you see and do in America is "domestication" 😢 just sad no Americans see it this way. But hey who wants to give up their "land", returning it to the natives and start from scratch? Lamo no one why? Cuz they are true bums, 😂😂 it all started with colonization when Columbus started his trip over the seas. Fun fact: cats don't always purr when happy; they also purr when in stress and use purring as a coping mechanism. So if your cat is purring an awful lot without a cause; don't be immediately alarmed, but make sure they're drinking enough water and pay attention to any other behaviors they may show 💛

Same with flicking their tail. Dogs may wag their tails when excited, but it’s the opposite with them most of the time. It’s a sign of stress.

Jazzy purred every time I walked in the room. I miss her. She died last July. I loved that kitty.

I had a hard time with her passing. I'm sure you and your Jazzy are close too. Even though they are cats. They help us more then we give them credit for.

she said flicking, not wagging (nitpicky difference i know), but flicking is more when the tail is stood up and straight and just the tip flicks back and forth. wagging is more aggressive and uses the whole tail from base to tip. flicking is actually a pretty consistent sign of happiness/interest :)

mine is a frequently grumpy old boy, but he actively seeks me out to cuddle and nap and thats all i need

Tail wagging is a warning from cats. If the tail is straight up, they're enjoying the pets

Not necessarily. Not all cats are the same for one. There's also waging intensity and subtle differences to look after. I know my cat really well and can "read her tail" well. I like it when she gets annoyed with me btw :) Sometimes she "retaliates" in a playful manner and "gets me" when I turn my back at her :)

It's not necessarily bad. My cats wave their tails when they watch birds and squirrels outside and when they're play fighting. If you're holding a cat and their tail is waving it probably means they're unhappy though.

@@marzgirl99 it's just a sign of anxiety - just as we humans might fidget when we're anxious, cats will swish their tails! I had a cat who did that all the time. I liked to call his name softly when he pretended to sleep and watch his tail start moving to and fro when he heard me!

Sometimes a sign of annoyance, like when they’re being overstimulated.

When your cat looks you in the eye and blinks, it tells you that it loves you. And if a cat, for example, fell down somewhere unhappily and pretends everything is fine but then purrs, that means that it has hurt itself and is just pretending like nothing happened

It's so heartbreaking when they do that thing. My Eppie got glass in her paw when she was a little juvie and she ran around and around in this room, keeping her eye on me the whole time. I knew just what she was trying to say. " Don't worry about me, Mom. I'm fine.". But she wasn't. She's fine now. Thank God.

Maybe it's just me but they will make it quite clear to you if they don't feel comfortable. Or on the flip side they make it quite clear when they're happy.

Error: when cats swing their tail from side to side quite fast means they're getting super angry with you and ready to attack you..

YOu mean "home-worlds", because I like that. A safe home is evident in every movement of any and all animals living in said home!! You can actually see them relax and their body language puts everyone into a playful, lively mood. It's like they are little happy people and they chase any and all "blues" away for the big unhappy people.

My cat definitely loved living with me, one of his favorite hobbies was to lay by my shoulder and purr into my ear while I was laying in bed with my laptop on my lap, and he’d give head bonks a lot as well, giving me a wet little nose all over my face. He loved being on me or next to me, and sometimes he’d be a cat hat on the pillow as we were going to sleep at night and I’d hold one of his paws in my hand as if holding hands and we’d sometimes actually fall asleep like that. On March 2nd it will be 3 years since he went over the rainbow bridge after about a week of poor health (he suddenly started having seizures) and he let me know when it was time and showed before then that he just wanted to stay home with me for a little while longer. He was a couple of months shy of turning 16 years old and he was with me since he was a kitten. First time I saw him and his siblings, they had just opened their eyes

I feel better knowing my cat loves me, and knowing my cat's adopted sister loved me before she died.

That calico was like "nu dont mess up chair it not allowed!"

My cat moves her tail before biting me so now I know to when to stop

my kitty had a very tough start in life. she's extremely timid and gets scared over the smallest thing (even a fly!). She's even suspicious about her food and prefers me to stay while she eats. But, she does get playful, sleep upside down and meows whenever she sees me. to me, thats her way of saying 'i love you', and i am so happy about that

My cat will walk into the room and immediately just flop onto her side. She also purrs and meows constantly and is always either near or literally on a person in the house. We absolutely loves our home and family.

We just got a little kitten a few days ago and he is purring 24/7. So i think he loves his new home.

Usually in my experience cats flick their tails when they’re mad/annoyed ready to fight . And purring is also done when in pain/distress.

When my cats flick their tails, it means that they're annoyed and two of them would lick me when they're happy or comfortable (Blue would usually lick you if you pat her and Malik would lick you if he is sitting on your lap)
