My best friend was my soul mate. So many people dont understand and/or dont like that considering I'm married and my best friend is a man and I met him through my husband. From the moment we met, we both felt this incredible bond that we just couldn't explain. I didnt have brother's and he didnt have sister's, that was the bond we felt with each other. Nothing ever romantic happened between us, even though his romantic partners didnt believe that, my husband never had a problem with our relationship. We often told each other that we loved each other, my husband would chime in with "I love you, too!" Sadly, he passed away last year and I've been lost ever since. I don't know what to do with myself anymore. I miss him so much. My heart hurts. It feels like part of soul is missing.

Oh wow... this is so sad.... I am so sorry. He'll keep on living inside your heart and memories though ♡ I can totally relate to what you've said in the beginning though. I met this person a year ago and I just feel at home being with him. He calms me down without even doing anything, just by being there. In my heart, there is enough space for him and my husband (who I know for sure is the love of my life) but people keep on questioning my feelings and behaviors and it really frustrates me. I don't see why you shouldn't have a male best friend as soon as you're married! :/

I have this with my boyfriend. We met online and the second we met in person it was like fireworks. Our second date lasted 9 hours and we talked about so much, even out mental health. We were talking constantly, and then 5 weeks after meeting, moved in together because of the pandemic. A year and a bit after that and I've never felt so loved and so connected to someone.

Very similar to my bf and I. We went to two of the same universities but didn't meet until after both of our long term relationships were ending. On our 4th date I got into a major car accident due to weather conditions. I blacked out after (later found out I had a concussion) but I just remember calling him and he came to me. I hugged him and cried in his arms something I rarely if ever do. He ended up riding in the tow truck back to my house to make sure I got home safely. That night when I was walking him to his Uber and thanking him for all the help/support we had our first kiss. Almost 3 years later and we still reminisce about that night 🥰

Yes, that happens but don't lose hope and have courage! I've had multiple friends, I enjoyed my time with them and deemed them as my real friends. But of course, as time goes by people change and we just drifted away from each other without any explanation or goodbye. I don't talk with those friends anymore, but I now have real friends and even through the pandemic, we still talk, like almost everyday lol. It was hard opening up to them, but as I opened up they opened themselves to me too. There are times when they've hurt my feelings and I've also hurt theirs but we learned to understand and forgive each other. There is the fear of getting hurt but the pain you've been feeling, can't compare to the joy that's coming. "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." Take things slowly but surely! It might not seem like it, but you'll find a way and find people who will appreciate you and if there comes the time that they will go, they'll give you a proper explanation/goodbye. Learn to love and believe in yourself while loving and believing in others. At least that's what I did and I've learned a lot from doing that. Sometimes it just doesn't work out and that's ok, it doesn't make you any less of a person.

I met someone amazing a few months ago and it’s a platonic relationship. Every point in this vid was spot on and she really does bring out the best in me. I consider myself lucky to have found someone to have an intimate connection with that isn’t sexual/romantic. It’s just easy and reciprocating.

I had this on my first date with my husband. Just this instant connection. We weren’t nervous, we just felt calm and peaceful. After our first date, we both happened to have vacation. Yup it hurts still but as long as they’re happy I honestly wish them the best. At first it hurt seeing them in a relationship and made me uncomfortable but now I just accepted it and although a part of me always wondered what if I would never wanna force something or make them unhappy so if they see me as a friend then that’s okay...... still hurts but ya know I’ll deal with it

I feel like I may have had this interaction 2 years ago with my close friend. Idk why, but we instantly hit it off and was able to understand each other; opening up about personal matters. I even thought I wouldn't run into them again when we suddenly ran across each other as if it was a scene from a movie. We still talk through texts at the very least and have had open conversations. It's weird and I may be overthinking it, but its nice to know someone who understands my most personal thoughts.

I have this connection with someone I know, but he lives in a different country and it’s so hard to even reach out and stay in contact. I have also already found my soulmate. When I first met him, I don't know, there's something that I can't really explain. There's a feeling that I've already known him before. And after that, we became best friends. We had so many deep conversations. We also told each other's problems, and there were times when he was clingy to me haha until we suddenly developed each other's feelings and confessed. But we can't start dating even though we both like each other because we're not in the same religion and it may cause a huge problem for our family, so we decided to stick together as friends until we were completely ready to risk everything because we both believe that "If you’re really meant for each other, God will make it happen."

I think the most unique and intense feeling is having gone together trough something terrible. Me and my brother were beaten when we were little, and we have gone through some of the worst situations someone can imagine. When we're talking I look him in the eye and remember all those horrible experiences and think: "we survived"

I used to think my expectations were too high, but I found exactly the person I had wanted. They checked every box I had, and continue to surpass any possible expectation beyond explanation. I have done that for them as well. I have never truly felt like I understood a person so well.

The person I have this relationship with is my LDR partner ❤ We hit things off pretty much instantly three years ago, almost best friends right away. We had both been in long-term relationships, but they each fell apart for their own reasons (ironically they both started before we met and ended around the same time). Now we've been in the best relationship either of us have ever had for almost a year, and are planning to move in with each other this year!

Me and my best friends are literally soulmates 😭❤️ I'm 10 hours older than her and we apply to all of these things. We can talk for hours and hours and never get bored, we finish sentences, talk at the same time, we understand each other, we make each other happy. I love her so so much.

I have definitely met my soulmate, we can talk about literally anything, and I think neither of us ever feel uncomfortable around each other. They are so amazing, I definitely developed feelings, but our relationship remains platonic (I confessed my feelings, so they know). I feel so grateful to have them in my life, but I'm trying to get past my feelings, I am convinced I was in love :(

My best friend and I have this connection! It's really hard b/c she moved to a different state like 8 years ago, but we try to Skype every chance we get. We've even been working on an animated series for about 5 years that brings us even closer together! I'm definitely gonna share this video with her!

It's amazing how it always feel like everything has fallen into its proper places, or that you're at the right time and at the right place whenever you're with your soulmate.

This would likely sound strange but I had this feeling last month when going to a teahouse for the first time. I was immediately drawn to the person running the place but couldn’t explain this feeling. It’s like I could sense their calming energy. Heck I’ve had a fair share of great services before but this one hits different. I liked the way he talks and smiles. He was very attentive, leans in to listen to my order, and I felt comfortable. After visiting for the third time I noticed I felt a bit empty when I had to leave (and was reluctant to). At the same time my mind is just constant ‘he’s just doing his job. Seriously don’t even think about it.’

I can't say that I've ever experienced this depth of connection immediately. But over the course of decades of marriage my wife and I definitely grew into soulmates. All of what is described applies to us. It just didn't happen at first sight.

I connect so heavily with this about my ex boyfriend. We dated for 9 months, and I ended things because he had been talking to a girl and I felt betrayed at the time. But we’ve both grown up a lot and I still love and miss him every day. We started seeing each other again recently and it feels like my love and feelings never change a bit, and he makes it very clear he feels the same. We are so intertwined soul wise. I can’t lose him again. Even if we can’t be in a relationship together.

But slowly and surely we’re building trust in eachother again. We spend our time talking things through and doing fun stuff. If you’re in a similar situation, it’s best to very slowly rekindle things. Rushing only causes issues in the end! The thing is, if you’re truly soulmates, your love will find a way to bloom! No need to force things, Best of luck to you!!

There is this one guy who I felt this instant connection with. I always had a lot of social anxiety but he made me feel so comfortable the second we met. I’ve never talked with someone the way I talked with him, especially since we had basically just met. I haven’t seen him for a couple of months and might never see him again. He only worked together for a month. It could never be romantic considering that I just turned 18 and he’s in his 40s. I know it might sound bad but it was never a friendship revolved around grooming or anything like that. I’ve just never had anyone understand me and to joke around with the way that I did with him. It would be cool to see him again but I might never.

Keep in mind: never use “fate” as a way to manipulate someone into getting into a relationship with you. Regardless of any signs of “destiny” you still have a choice in the matter! 💕

@@7dawid7 of course! I believe that everyone we meet and grow close to is in our lives for a reason. And that someday we will meet the right person that will make us forever happy. I just also had someone try and convince me once that I didn’t have a choice in getting into a relationship with him, because it was fate we were brought together. He wasn’t my forever person haha.

There is the one for everybody but sometimes you have to sacrifice a lot to find and appreciate that person

My best friend is my soulmate. I've know her techinically since before i was born because she was in the nursery my mom visited when she was pregnant with me. I officially met her when i was 4 months and she was 10 months old. Every since that day we've been super close and have done everything together. My earliest memories all involve her, majority of my childhood pictures she's in, we even had 2 photoshoots her aunt did in her garden and they show our transition from 3 to 9. Sadly she moved overseas, I dont talk to her as often as i used to, but no matter what ik the minute i see her we'll be back to normal, we have such a close bond and she's basically my sister. We've never really fought before (unless it wa sover like clothes or toys when we were younger). She's always been there for me when I'm struggling and her mother too (who's like a mother to me). She's the whole reason after 6 years i got back in tough with my father, which now, I am so grateful for. You will find your soulmate and never ever let them go once you do

While watching this video, I thought of my best friend because when we first met, I felt that special connection. We instantly became friends just from our first convo. Whenever something good or bad happens, the first person I think of telling this is to my best friend. She does the same. I have this with someone. I haven't heard from her since October after I apologized for my parents's treated her when she came by my house. I'm thinking of going to her house someday to give her a bamboo, apologize, and admit my feelings. Recently me and my best friend had a huge falling out and are no longer friends. I've never been so close to someone in my life, ever since the pandemic started we've been through everything together and now we're strangers again. I've been watching these videos to try and process the last 3 years of this really complicated relationship. It's all been so confusing but me and her both know that we had a unique bond.
