I felt so sorry for her when she told the story about her past (because I also have experienced homelessness as a youth) and when she said she was only really doing sex work because “it was sort of a necessity” and “there’s a deep sadness.” My poor girl. They were upset that lavender wants to quit and her perception on it because they probably hear that from people outside the field. But maybe they need to understand not everyone did it as a choice or enjoys it. Lavenders background seems very traumatic, and it’s so sad that she was kinda invalidated. And to clarify I think that it is a valid profession but you need a little awareness in it because for everyone in the field they don’t see it that way.

I would say it is the majority of people that go through the sex work industry that have regrets. Watching this while following Kazumi and Ginny made it hilarious

I really enjoyed this episode. I also love how one of the girls was saying about virginity being a social construct. I totally agree with that. Another thing is I was wondering if the mole would be someone who is a sex worker but has never had sex. I don’t think people realise is that you can be a sex worker and still not have had sex, because the term “sex worker” covers a really broad variety of things.

Her experience is EXTREMELY different from most people's reality. Most do it out of necessity and since it's a very competitive industry, it's hard to make more money than the average sw. Obviously she did get more more money, but it isn't really realistic.
