Dear David is still my absolute favorite. The perfect blend of being realistic and uncanny, of plausible evidence and evidence that it a bit of a stretch. I just wish Dear David had picked up more of a life as an urban legend. Maybe after the movie.

The voicemail one, I think it was Shane Dawson who talked about it a while ago, and he talked to the person who received it. The guy said he got another twitter account because his life was turned upside down and people wouldn't leave him alone. He confirmed he received that voicemail, that he saw some weird people outside his window, but he could not confirm if the messages he received about it being "classified information" were real or if it was people messing with him. He also said while a lot of people especulated about it being connected to the Malaysian flight, that was people on the internet making the connection, he had no idea if it was true. So there was not a closure, things just... died down. And he never knew where the heck that came from.

The Sun Vanished was the first of this kind of thing I came across and that was thanks to fantastic daily, he is brilliant, I love the way he writes I think he’s super creative and certainly as a first introduction into these viral stories/args was a great one, still is and definitely worth looking at. the Gregory story was super creepy in a totally different way to TSV not one to watch before bed lol

The updates are extremely slow, but they’re coming. The main dude had a video of him getting into a car and someone outside of the car trying to hurt him, and his most recent update says something about him having this surreal dream about him, Danyon, and the other person he was talking two all together and the sun was back, but he wasn’t sure if it was actually the two guys or their bodies. Creepy.
