I've been using my oppo a77s for a month, overall I'm very satisfied with it. The performance is great especially handling background apps as i manage to use it where i left off for an hour. The battery life span is amazing as it manages to last up to 2 to 3 days longer when used for browsing FB, watching KZread and listening to music but when it comes to gaming it consumes very less than i expected. Lastly, the camera, i loved it when the camera adjusted the bright light backgrounds after taking a picture or selfie. It shows everything in the environment when the camera is facing the light. It's my first time witnessing this kind of feature knowing i never owned high end smartphones. The only thing that annoys me about this phone is that the camera is a tear drop design instead of a punch hole.

hi, i'm thinking of getting this phone............never used a Chinese brand before...........not too sure if it will last a couple years...........the screen resolution is not that great - so is the quality reasonably sharp ?...........hope the phone isn't laggy even with 8GB of RAM........

@@worstalentscout I've owned 2 oppo cellphones back then since 2016, and this is my 3rd cellphone atm. My first oppo was small and has very low specs of 4gb ram and 64 gb rom and till this day it's still working for 7 years straight. I bought my 2nd phone in 2021 for a bigger screen display but had to sell it bcuz of its laggy issues and low specs which is the same as my first phone, and i have been using it for like 2 years straight before selling it. So much for a Chinese phone it can last longer like every branded original cellphone as long as the owner is taking care of it. Soo for my experience with this Oppo A77s, it's actually very good. The quality is good and NO it doesn't lag since it has a good ram of 8gb, it won't get laggy even if you open like multiple apps running in the background. After owning it for a month there will be some updates with the system that the phone will recommend and the UI will change too which is good too. The camera quality is also good if you're taking pictures on a regular basis. Overall it's a nice phone, but it actually depends on your preferred choice and opinion if u want this phone or not. I hope my recommendation helps.

@@sonic10130 ...........many thanks indeed, really appreciate your detailed answer..........my use is basic so no need high specs but pity the screen is not of higher resolution........i'm using an ancient Samsung Galaxy S5 (only 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM) so i'm used to AMOLED screen.......

Love the back design na may pagka matte para iwas fingerprint smudges.

The camera is great but when i uploaded pics (was taken using backcam) on Facebook it became blurry, tho i already adjusted the quality in the Facebook setting, still it's blurry. But when uploading selfies, its just fine.

Oppo A77s or Vivo Y27? Almost same price range. Thinking of getting one for my daughter.
